i tried doing a search on the forum and i could not find anything related to this so here it goes.
whats with liquids with alcohol in them? a few days ago i saw a few videos on youtube about kids inhaling vaporized alcohol, and according to some of these videos, it could cause problems to the lungs etc.

so what exactly is the reason some vendors put alcohol in their juices? what do other members think and/or know about this?
do you feel comfortable vaping juices with amounts of alcohol that could range from a substantial quantity to trace amounts?

There's a few reasons for the presence of pga in eliquid. One is the flavor concentrates used could contain pga. I think (think) that it's common practice for vendors who sell pg-free juices to use flavoring with pga, though I could be wrong on that.

Alcohol may also be used during the extraction process for certain extracts. I know of one vendor who uses alcohol to extract tobaccos and because of that is able to sell them totally pg-free. Keep in mind, 100% vg doesn't always mean pg-free because some vendors 100% vg juices use flavorings that contain pg.

I know some vendors use pga as an additive to increase throat hit. No idea how effective it is for that.

And finally, pga can be used to "thin" vg heavy juices. Distilled water is also used for that purpose.

If a juice has a noticable alcohol scent I'll leave the cap off for several hours to allow the alcohol to evaporate. Whether a juice contains pga doesn't concern me, and I don't actively seek alcohol free juices.
