Happy Easter and 420!

Back in the day, I was told not to use rubbing alcohol to clean the pinch roller in a cassette deck because the alcohol would dry out and crack the rubber.

When changing flavors, I soak the top and base of my nautilus in Everclear.

Will the alcohol eventually dry out and crack the rubber grommet used in the connector of the base?

Thank you

P.S. What about 99% isopropyl alcohol?

I use 70% Isopropyl alcohol for all my e-cig cleaning needs without any side affects. I've used alcohol in a spray bottle for all my light cleaning for years. My book tells me if alcohol does not work then WD-40 will. :)

P.S. 99% is perfect for cleaning electronics and tools but it's over kill for everything else.

P.S.S. Make your own dilution by adding distilled water. Add a little mint or maraschino cherry for a more pleasant scent. Just remember a little flavoring will go along way. A little food coloring will help you identify your concoction.
