Materials, warm running water, Pipe Cleaner, and wood alcohol

I start by taking the tank apart (top half, bottom, and coil.)

Run warm water over all three. Then soak in the diluted pipe cleaner (I use Gunk , its made for ....s from Amazon.com) for a few minuts.

Shake the main tank and rinse real well with warm water. Rinse and blow out the bottom and coil a couple time.

Then dunk into HEET (only source of wood alcohol/methanol these days) they sell it at Autozone. It speeds up the drying time.

Then place in front of a fan about 15 minutes. Make sure all the alcohol is dry as its a toxin. Blow out the parts.

The coil wick takes the longest so I rotate those.

Beats waiting all day for water to dry and is much faster than Isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol.)
