I'll preface this by saying that I am a big fan of AiV (except for the shipping)...I feel like I have to say that off the bat to avoid getting ripped by the fanboys.

My everyday setup is the Phoenix rebuildable dripping atty (Trivecca Rebuildable Atomizer), with my vv box mod. I've noticed, compared to other juices I used, that AiV juice is a coil's worst nightmare. I notice a decline in flavor and vapor after maybe only a couple hours of use on a freshly made coil, and the gunk buildup begins almost immediately. I'm not sure if it's a high VG content, or just the flavoring/sweetener they use. It's gotten to the point where I'm considering not buying from them anymore, even though I ADORE their flavors.

There's obviously nothing i can do about it...it's either vape it, or don't vape it. All I know is it's getting exhausting (and costly) to have to make a new coil everyday.

I would just like to know if anyone else has noticed this.

I use the Vmod hybrid atty in a Reo. The Lemon loves cake crushes that atty in about 3 days. Luckily for me, my favorite flavor is Twas. I can go about 2-3 weeks before I need to swap out atty's.

To your point, yes I think some of AIV juices are very tough on equipment but not all of them. Trial and error.

Brillig is my favorite too. Zombie Apocalypse seems to be the worst of the culprits. I feel like as soon as I drip it my coil withers up and dies

I was thinking about posting about the same (similar) issue. I only have WR from AiV, but it gunks up my T3 coils sooner than most other juices. So far, my normal rinse and soak (x3) in really hot water followed by an air dry seems to work at cleaning them.

As an aside, I hvae not yet used vodka for coil cleaning. Does it help clean any more than simple hot water?

I dont have much experience with T3s. With my rba, i simply light the silica wick on fire to burn all the juice out of it. then once the flame burns out and it is completely dry, i do a dry burn to get the crap off the coil. ive never done more than that. if that doesn't remedy any issues, i toss the coil and proceed to wrap a new one.
