Love the sweet e-liquids BUT they turn new coils and wicks to crap,,, quickly.
As of lately my favorite all day vape would be Peanut Butter, top choice being Vapergate's MFPB.
In a decision not to pay the exorbitant prices of Gourmet e-juice I started my quest to find and create the recipe to this delicious liquid. It seems like I nail it with my DIY version, when a day later the flavor goes off.
I add a drop more Sweetener, Peanut Butter, Toasted Almond or Cake Batter to my tank in hope to fine tune the flavor. It all seems to go in the wrong direction, ( mainly the direction of the garbage can. )
This morning I had a [ DUH ] moment. I thought to change out the coil. After pulling the top off the Kangertech stock coil I saw that it was gunked like I've never seen before. When I dismantled the coil, not even torching the Kanthal wire remove the crap off the wire. After the torching, I scratched it off with a small screwdriver, uncoiled it, rewound it then re-wicked and set it back into the tank. The flavor and vape production were spot-on.
All my time learning the tricks and trades of vaping and all of the sudden I realize the juice is perfect, the coil and wick are not. ( I'm starting to wonder if at 56 dementia is setting in. )
For those that don't rebuild coils and use them for a long extended time, they must be missing out on the full flavor their e-liquid can give, also to mention the vaper production and overall vape satisfaction.
Bottom line is, the sweet juices I love gunk-up the coil and wick rather quickly. If I didn't enjoy the rebuilding / hobby part of vaping, it would be pretty costly to be fully satisfied with vaping.
NOTE:
This is one of the main reasons why drippers say they get the best flavor from their e-juice,,, they get to see the coil and wick condition every time they drip!!!!!!
