Alice in Vapeland closed?

Hi all I searched the forums, but I could not find any threads about this. When I visit their website, it says "We're Closed"--is this temporary (gone to Vapebash or something) or are they truly closed? Any info appreciated!

They close every week once they reach a certain number of orders. They then re open Tuesday at midnight est.

They open Wednesday morning at 12 am and stay open until they reach the number of orders they can fill in a week. Then close til the next week.

How can you close a website? Isn't it "live" all day?

I think they control the store function by means of accepting orders. By all means, the site is live, but you can't add items to your cart or check out.

If you have a business where you can only accept orders for part of one day per week, you are doing it wrong. Time to expand your production ability... I DIY most of my stuff, but when I do treat myself to pre-mixed, I support vendors who can provide customer service more than one day per week.

For them to expand they would need to hire additional mixologists and possibly rent a larger space to work from. It is quite possible they don't want to go through that hassle and are completely happy with how the business is operating since it seems they're so popular.

Edit: They could do it like Fuzion does and accept too many orders so they get backlogged.

Or like Alien Vision and have their whole system come a grinding halt.

Insightful people . I agree with you all, I know that ordering from AiV is a hassle sometimes (hasn't been for me cause I'm in CA and they're usually open 10 pm tuesday night (twice the last two weeks, really)) but there's a downside any way you cut it. AVE's site crashed cause we are all greedy and we wanted BOBA now! It's a shame really, I feel for the owner. He's had bad luck the past couple months, he's so darn popular people act like a virus and crash his site. There is a lesson to be learned there.

Yep, I have missed ordering AiV two weeks in a row. I do like me some Zombie Apocalypse, and I got talked into trying White Rabbit and something else. My girl loves her some cupcake dream. I woke up late for work on Wednesday, and by the time I got free at work, it was too late! It is annoying dealing with that, but that is how they do it at AiV.

If you want the juice, gotta jump through hoops!

I did cloth diapers with my sons and got into "hyena" diapers which is the nickname for fast selling pricey diapers. They would put up 5-10 diapers on a site and youd be hitting refresh waiting for them to stock at a specified hour and they would sell out in less than 30 seconds. 12 hr window to order and personal touches on a excellent product doesnt bother me at all. Site crashing doesnt either honestly! Not being able to get my supply of fav ejuice would. Im up when aiv opens and its been no trouble for me *shrug*
