If you want to try a carto type tank, try the f-16 or f-15 (I forget which is which), since they already come pre-punched. One of them has a flange at the bottom, the other does not, and I can't remember right now which is which, or even if I have those numbers correct. I have the f-16, I think, and they work well enough, but I prefer the non-punched Boges and punch them myself.

For the tanks, I'd recommend the protanks2, or even the original protanks.

Someone asked this question, right? I'm not just talking to myself here, am I?

I have to say, though, if you already love your protanks, unless you just want to try carto tanks, I'd just stick with the protanks. That's my suggestion. Unless you're a tinkerer like me. The next step would be rebuildables, though.

If you mean FT, they're not that slow. My orders usually arrive in less than 2 weeks. Once I got an order in about a week.
