So newbie over here back with another update. Put my zombie apocolypse in my protank. I'm still getting the weird papery taste or idk what it is I got with 2 other of my samples. I can taste what it's supossed to be and its AMAZING. But I can't seem to get over whatever else is messing up the flavor. Did I not let them sit with the caps off long enough? I've had my samples for about a week and a half so they should be fairly well steeped. I'm a broke college student so these samples are what I have until I can afford to buy some more juice.

But does anyone know the weird taste I'm getting? What is it and how do I get it to go away? I'm debating going to a B&M near me who sells Alice juice to try their testers and see how those are.

EDIT: forgot to mention the papery taste goes away slightly as I vape the juice in my tank for a little if that helps

I'm right there with you. Maybe I can pop a wheelie...um...probably not a good idea lol. I'll stick with the wiggle and a chair spin lol!

I'm no expert, only been vaping for a few months myself, but, is it possible it;s something with the head in your ProTank? Maybe the wicks are not saturated enough or they are a little shot?

Just a guess, I have not tried any of my samples yet, they've been sitting for a week and I am allowing them to sit for another week before I try them, but I doubt it's the juice.

Nope not the heads I've tried them with a new head as well as one I've already broken in. They are fully saturated as well. It's not a burnt or dry wick taste it's more of a grassy or papery taste. I even scammed some of my boyfriends juice because I was running low and his tastes just fine. It's just these juices.

Itskatiekate,since you are tasting this with 3 different flavors , do you taste it with the tea flavors from AiV or just the bakery ones?...I did have one person try ZA and say all they could taste was "a pappery picecusty flavor" with under notes of fruit" They do not taste that way to me but it is the closest to what you are decribing

Yes. I got it more with afternoon tea though. It wasn't as strong in sweet tease. Idk. I love the taste of the juice otherwise. Just wonder what I'm doing wrong or I'm just sensitive to the taste if whatever else is in there.

Black and White cookie is the only one I didn't taste it in

Please forgive my noobie ignorance but i keep seeing Mind Tolouse and a lavender somthing mentioned in this thread. I didnt see those on the "menu" page. Am I missing a tab or totally blind?

I think that one is just stunning!

Seriously....Mind Toulouse is my all time favorite. I am an avid Absinthe lover, and I have to say that one is SPOT ON. It is not overwhelmingly anise like some absinthe vapes, and a good Absinthe has a hint of anise, not a full flavor profile in it. The magic comes in with the slightly sweet spice notes in a good absinthe....and EVERYTIME I vape Mind Toulouse I get those notes as that thick, velvety vapor rolls across my tongue...OH so good. I'm out at the moment and can hardly wait for Tuesday...... I wanted to add that Nicole and Jah are genius...this vape is truly a work of art and if anyone has had a good absinthe and experienced the water ritual, the Louche, the sugar cube ritual, you would know what I mean...just my

Lavender Ever After is a new offering that isn't on the site yet. Some have gotten samples, but you can't buy it yet. Hopefully they'll change that in time for the portal opening Tuesday, since it's Buy All The AiV week for me.

When they do release it, it will be offered in 7ml samplers in the C Room, which you can find here: Caterpillar’s Apothecary | AiV

When you want to find it again, go the "More" tab and click on C. Room. Go down to the graphic with Alice and the red door and click on it and it will take you to the Caterpillar's Apothecary. These are juices that are currently in the testing phase.

I have tried Absinthe, the proper way with sugar cubes, etc. and I remember liking it, if I recall correctly, I drank a few of them but it's been a very long time.
