FancyPants...child support is different than a split in assets....wrongdoing on either side does not matter. The federal guidelines are set at a minimum of $280 per month upto a maximum 1/3rd the before tax income of the non custodial parent. That amount does continue until the child/children reach 18 ( 21 if still in school)

my partner was in this very same situation, laid off shortly after the separation, and though initially they tried to go by federal tax returns to determine child support, his lawyer was able to provide enough proof re his current situation and they reduced the support accordingly. That judge is obviously just siding with your ex for some reason, and you need a better lawyer who will fight for you to get the courts to do what's right.
Sorry this has happened to you. You have my deepest sympathies and I will hold you in my thoughts and prayers.

Just got my very first AiV box in the mail yesterday. Steeping has begun. I was thrilled with the charm, a little silver tree. We had just talked about our family tree with my autistic son and when he saw it he said "mom, that little tree is perfect. It's really a big tree with lots of branches like lots of kids like we have (we now have 7 ranging from 26 to 14) but it's all shrunk down so you can fit it in your hand...and in your heart" Thanks AiV,you made my day in so many ways!

So the next two flavors up for review are Twas Brillig & A Quiet Morning. First, Twas Brillig was awesome. Just the right amount of fruit flavor with crumb cake goodness. Decent throat hit for what it is and the natural flavor was perfectly balanced. Highly recommended.
A Quite Morning is another one of those OMG how did they do this flavors!!! Simply amazing. The best way to describe it is passionfruit green tea. There is a little shop close to home that sells iced tea. They sell a passionfruit green tea which tastes nearly identical to this flavor. It's like vaping this tea. I was a little nervous about it because Afternoon Tea was not one of my favorites, but this one was amazing. Next up will be Sweet Tease. I can probably use the same clearo without doing heavy cleaning or using a fresh atty (bonus).

yuttynutt, I'm so sorry to hear about your troubles, darling. The court system is so skewed against men, its infuriating. It's no wonder there are so many angry, bitter divorced fathers. My poor brother dealt with something very similar. His ex is certifiable, I'm not even kidding. Unfortunately he had twins with her before discovering this fact. Her latest stunt was taking them to court and accusing my brother's new wife of sexually abusing them. (I should mention that his "new" wife is also his first wife. They reconnected after his divorce. I've known her for years. She's the mother of his first two daughters and she is, without a doubt, one of the best mothers I know. So yeah.....it was all a load of bull&*^%.) Thankfully the judge saw straight through her lies, but it still cost my brother and his wife thousands in attorney fees.

Good morning, Vapelandians! Recovering from a very frustrating (but overall cool) night. Went to a Mumford and Sons concert last night and every part of getting there and leaving was as absurd as one can possibly imagine. I thought we were going to have to sleep in the parking lot after, because no one moved for an HOUR. Some random guy finally got fed up and started directing traffic and cleared out the cars in about 10 minutes. It was ridiculous.
But the concert was amazing. I saw a couple of other vapers there. I wish all the nasty ciggy smokers had been vaping, too. I just can't tolerate the smell anymore.
