It's ok, I need a 3 level cervical fusion and my old orthopedist died and am having to do stuff all over again...Been in chronic pain for 9 years and can't seem to get help I need, I hardly have a life anymore. Life, ha! Ok, I have no life anymore! Most people don't want to operate because of my age, they think I'm too young, and my neck has started spurring and looks like it's trying to fuse itself at one level. But what would my body know, these doctors are smarter! I've been through physical therapy, chiropractic care (he said I needed surgery), pain management which equals tons of steroid injections: epidural, trigger point and just more steroids- didn't work, then started getting migraines about 5 years ago. Then this year my SI joint started acting up, which causes lower back pain and they haven't done **** about that! So I am a very cranky, very aggravated and very tired girl, who just wants to feel better but everyone seems to enjoy leaving me in pain, so I don't know what to do...I just want to feel better, that's all.

And shouldn't my new ortho have at least glanced at my freaking 9 years of medical records?! Or am I just crazy?! I'm finding a new danged doctor! Watched everyone leave me in pain, while everyone else gets treated quickly and they don't suffer like that! I swear, I am at the end of my rope! If someone doesn't do something to help me, other than recommend the same old stuff over and over ad nauseum, I don't know what I'm going to do, this is just cruel.

Thanks Megan! You start to feel crazy after a while, you know? Thanks, I think I need to find a new ortho or neurosurgeon.

I actually got a second opinion years ago, said if the discogram was positive, then I would benefit from surgery, if it was negative, then surgery would not help...Danged thing was positive at 3 levels!! Oh, I woke up crying, not sobbing just tears rolling down my cheeks nonstop, would have really hurt if I'd been sobbing, and didn't stop until they had to give me Demerol and toradol, and I could not take any medicine until after a certain time, they maxed me out after that test because I was in so much pain! This just seems ridiculous to me and I'm so sick of it!!

Happy Happy Vapemail Day!!!

Got my big girl bottle of April Moon and a small bottle of B&W Cookie. Jah & Nicole were also kind enough to enclose the 3 little samples I requested of Frost Blossom, Mystic Mandalime, and Lemon Loves Cake, the three I ruined from my LBE sample pack when I gave them too much heat in my ultrasonic. (I could tell because they all had little to no flavor left.) I now know better and know that if I want to use the ultrasonic to help steep my AiV juices, DO NOT USE HEAT as it can ruin some of the delicate flavors. I'm looking forward to experiencing those 3 all over again now too, the way they're meant to be.

I don't have a picture of my beautiful vapemail, and the lovely note included within, since I had to run out of the house for the day shortly after getting the mail, and now the bottles are sitting in my breadbox with the caps off. So instead, I'll just stag Violy's picture below and comment on how I love that new revolver charm on the ZA.

Just discovered a crazy side effect of vaping Frost Blossom: it appears to cure my migraines! Mild ones at least, not had a real doozy since I quit the stinkies, but had a nasty wee one start up yesterday, came back with a vengeance today, but each time the pain bloomed, a five minute vape just squelched it back to background noise. Other flavours haven't had the same effect, so assuming it's not the nicotine, just whatever that fairy dust is works better than codeine. \o/

Wow! Great to know! Considering I just got a new sample of Frost Blossom. Morri had sent me a little so I could see what it was really supposed to taste like after ruining mine, but it's a higher nic than I usually use, which can sometimes bring on headaches in and of itself, so I'm glad I got a new bottle of this in my usual 6mg. I'm a severe migraine sufferer, for me it has to do with my allergies and though I have other "medicine" to help deal with them, it's not always as appropriate to take that at certain times so I will definitely make sure to try some of mine next time one of my migraines hits. Thanks for that super neat tip!!

I have the revolver charm on my other bottle, for this bottle I got the skull with the flower seen in my pic. Not complaining, I like my new skull charm! Now I'm curious to see my other ones tomorrow...

Thank you all for the pm's and encouragement I know it will all work out. I just feel overwhelmed and stressed but can't seem to jump that hurdle of switching back to vaping. I will get there.

Aww that's horrible. My mother has the same thing - just two fusing bits though - and they don't want to operate because she's got so much else wrong with her after years of meds; seems you can't win, eh? Apparently it's just such a risky procedure (she was quoted something like a 40+% chance of at least partial paralysis) that no surgeon wants it to hurt their stats so very hard to get a consultant to sign off on it before permanent damage is already done. And in the meantime she has painkillers that just make her so out of it she's like a junkie, can't even make it to the bathroom alone on them.

Doing the right thing though getting angry; just keep pushing them and try to keep your chin up, you're far from dome for yet. *hugs*

Yup mine is the skull too... which is why I was commenting on the revolver. Perhaps when I refill my ZA I'll ask for the revolver one. Though the skull is one of my faves... but I'd like to think I can eventually collect them all.

I ordered and received my sampler on Monday and have had them all steeping. I know that's not necessary on most of them, but I emailed AiV and asked about steeping and she said most are ready to go upon delivery, but White Rabbit and another one I forget could stand some steeping.
I ordered a new Vision Spinner which will be delivered today along with some bottom coils and replacement coils and a T3 with 2 replacement heads.
What voltage do u find works best on AiV liquid? I don't want to drip because it's not practical for me. I Vape a lot while traveling or at work.
I want to find 1 or 2 vendors that I order exclusively from. I read Spinfuel a lot and AiV was rated highest along with another vendor. I ordered Southern Banana Pudding from them and discovered what it's like to literally Vape a food!
I'm excited for AiV to be my main vendor as all her flavors look SO yummy and her reviews are just incredible!!
Any advice on voltage or tips on what works best for certain flavors would be appreciated!!
Thanks everyone for being so nice! I plan on sampling each flavor without reading the label and writing down my observations and loves. Twas Brillig seems to be a lot of people's favorite!! Thanks!

Welcome Joan!! I start my spinner at 4 then try and start backing it down or up just to see. For me it depends on the day but most of mine end up about 3.4 or a bit lower especially the teas. The bakery ones go a bit higher than the teas but it will be just up to your personal flavor likes.

Thanks Megan! I'll do that. Since in my "experiment" with not knowing what I'll be sampling, I'll start more conservatively at a lower number and work up. We're on our way to kentucky now driving thru the mountains, so I'll get to get started when we get back home.

I totally understand how you feel. I am going through the medical circus right now. Every new doctor I am referred to wants to run the same tests that the last one did a week ago. It does make you crazy. I fired my last neuro. He never looked at me. Our visits comprised of him walking in the room, telling me what my diagnosis is (every visit) and walking out then his nurse handing me scripts for the same pills as usual that do not work. I walked with a cane when i started seeing him. A year later im in a wheelchair with no use of my legs and partial use of my right arm. Dont be afraid to fire your physician. Dont wait too long if you feel you really need to. Best of everything to you.

Happy Friday Vapeland. Ready to go home. Two babies got up way too early so they are cranky. Can't find the mouse for Netflix so at the mercy of what's on tv ....animated potatoes dressed as a hair band. had the baby asleep...for 10 whole minutes until the cat got a double boiler stuck on her head and woke her up. My body is fighting the radiation so we had to quit that, but continuing the chemo. They want to put the screw back in....Nope not doing it. Somehow this is NOT the life I dreamed of...but it could always be worse so I'm not complaining. Hope you all have a great day.

Mrs G, I'm prying I know so feel free to ignore me but do You have MS? I do as well...I ignore my neuro as all the meds they try me on are crap except the valium which helps me cope with the horrible vertigo I deal with all the time.
