so another busy week in cait-land. (haha, get it?).

been on a mission to figure out who i am, now that the ex is really gone. shampoo'd my carpet a billion times, did some baking, reconnected with old friends... and raged a little at the "new" boyfriend this week. (its not his fault, but since he has his kids 10 out of every 14 days, 3 jobs, and lives half an hour away... i get a little ragey by day 10 or 11 in a row of not seeing him. fortunately we've worked out a deal... he gets to be busy as hell, and i get to rage whenever i feel like it. muhahaha.) also, been taking daily trips to the nearest playground with my son. over the last year, he's developed a paranoia of stairs (i can't explain it, he used to run all over the playground with no fear!) -- this week he not only re-mastered the stairs, he got the ladders and managed to figure out climbing up the slide. i'm awfully proud of him right now.

pictures to follow are...
1, the beautiful surprise punkin mail i got 2 weeks ago. took this long to sit down and move the picture from phone to computer.
2, my cherished mommy gift that arrived today... zombie and punkin, and a delicious sample of april moon. (i have to admit, it reminds me of grape jelly..but my eternity keeps getting re-dripped with it...sample may not survive to steep...)
3, the banana bread i baked yesterday. being a smrt girl, i threw in a trail mix that had cranberries, cashews, almonds, and chocolate chips in it instead of using walnuts (said new-bf is not fond of walnuts) -- i have to admit, half the muffin-sized-breads and 1/4 of one of the rounds...are gone already.

(i cannot promise they are in the order i numbered them in....)

hope everyone in vapeland is having a beautiful week!

today is dreaded doctor day, darlings so see you all later this evening.

hugs n loves

starting here and quoting myself because I know everyone wanted to know how the doctor day went. My own and not the famous dr. who and all that, Monkey monkey. LOL

Dr. Lin had a fit. As in conniption type. Said he never wanted ANY of his patients to be in this kind of pain, much less the elderly type such as myself and he apologized profusely for the mix-up. Seems that somehow between me, him and the physician helper person, there was a ms-communication. I came home with two kinds of break thru instead of long acting and breakthru. So, he gave me the dilaudid long acting one that the pharmacy has to order which we will see if the insurance will cover or not. It takes a week or more to get it in. Should be in thursday week. In the mean time, back on the patches, which I still have some left over and the dilaudid 4mg. every 4 hours to fill in. It was a four hour trip and by the time I got home, I was in tears and Eddy put me to bed. But before, he put patch on me and cuddled me up with heating pad and cuddle quilt and pillows and all that so that when I woke up..... I felt so good. Better than I have in months. And I have felt good all evening. And he gave me medicine for nausea
so no throw ups either. I do not feel loopy or drunk or anything. Just do not have pain. This is what I want.... as long as I do not get sick. So, I am feeling really good right now. fingers crossed. Doctors planning something for first of year, but right now just want to keep me comfortable. I am all for that.

Thank you for the warm welcome and this tea is really good. What kind is it?

Morri, I hit ya on the other tread but to repeat a bit: Good for you and I am soooo happy that you are pain free, not loopy and praying to the porcelain god. Thank God the doctor found out that you were having so much trouble. I get angry when communication breaks down.

Ah Morri so glad to hear they have finally done something for your pain! It is such a nice thing when they HEAR what you say in the doctor's office! :)

Just received a pretty little package from AiV! We went to town to take my granddaughter out to eat for her 8th birthday tonight. (We get our mail through the kids house, it is easier and that way we see our babies at the same time.) Then when I got home I had a shipping notice for a package from AiV so Saturday when we go over to help with her birthday party with all her little friends I might get a second one in the same week! Heaven! Today was bandersnatch, mystic madalime, 15 foot falls (in my strength) and a lavender ever after... all opened so that they can have a bit of time to age.

I also got my 2 vamo (one is purple aluminum and I love it! the other is lavender since I couldn't decide between them) that I have been waiting for for almost 2 months now and a new eternity! Vapemail galore, I'm such a happy girl tonight! The pun'kin that has been aging the last couple of weeks is delicious out of the eternity!

May you all have an awesome evening!:)
