I think that you might be onto something there. I'm having difficulties expressing exactly what that "weird" taste is, but smell, especially, along with taste is so incredibly subjective and also complex, playing with memories and other feelings, too. As to White Rabbit, the prominent note for me is coconut...but I'm sensitive to coconut flavors for some reason or another. I'm not allergic to coconut flavor or anything like that, but for me a little coconut always seems to go a very long way.
Berry Lil Cheesecake seems like a winner to me. I haven't dripped too much of it yet, as I'm still primarily letting it steep, but the few times that I did drip some, I was quite pleased with it. After it has steeped longer, I'll compare it more closely with Twas Brillig and decide which of the two I prefer. I really want some sort of "dark" berry bakery type juice on hand.
I haven't tried Punk'in Tumble yet...waiting for around Thanksgiving to try it.
I have heard others state that the "cakey" taste to them is a bit "earthy" in heavier flavors like Twas and WR and more buttery in lighter ones like Lemon Loves Cake and Cup Cake City...I like all of them but when I read those descriptions it kinda fit.

It sucks. I got Berry Lil Cheesecake in the mail the other day and...yuck. Just flat out yuck. I am getting sick though so I just put it away, will probably bring it out again next week. It tasted like some kind of berry medicine or something.

I didn't expect to like everything in the LBE sampler pack, and I don't. However, I think that it was worth every penny to find out what I do like!
I sure hope that you feel better soon; I'm really curious what you think about Berry Lil Cheesecake after you're feeling better. In your honor, I'm going to drip some later tonight and reassess my opinion of it.
I am a rabid Alice fan. Great juice. I think of all their flavors it is the teas that shine the brightest. A Quiet Morning is my ADV only to be interrupted with Afternoon Tea. That being said, I am giving April Moon a try with this order. All of their juices are brilliant, but the teas are just divine.
April Moon is great, I describe it as blue. I cannot go without Frost Blossom and Quiet Morning.

I just dripped Berry Lil Cheesecake and Twas Brillig - Twas Brillig is the winner right now, but both are very delicate to me. I reckon I'll cleanse my palate with Orange Makes Me Creamcicle; I have that tanked up in a Protank Mini II v.2 for when I need a quick change-up since I don't frequently vape citrus flavors. Bye...
April Moon and Ginger by the Sea are stronger flavors, but absolutely brilliant! April Moon has a very sweet, juicy blueberry on the inhale...not candy but ripe blueberries..and a very sublte apricot/cream on the exhale...VERY refreshing and pleasant. Ginger by the Sea is a complex vape of fresh ginger,,,but not overpowering mixed with subtle spicy notes that is very enticing! Remember...taste is subjective and YMMV...this is just my 
but those are two favorites. Another that I NEVER thought I'd care for is Forgotten Memories....Fresh concord grape...SPOT ON...I'm not much for grape anything...but it is SOOO good..taste like sweet, juicy, concord grapes...

I really like B&W Cookie - to me, it's their strongest flavor. I also like White Rabbit - it is the strangest, yet most complex flavor ever. I went on a huge buying spree of AIV a month or two ago and ended up w/ too much. I got a kick out of Footprints in the Jello - peanut butter and jelly w/ menthol - sounds really weird, but it's catchy. It's just a pain to order and yes, the wait is excruciating. I love their packaging though - it's a party in a box!
I still can't taste anything well. And perhaps letting the juice sit will make it taste better. But yes twas brillig is the bomb, not as good as April Moon though. I have some ginger by the sea en route as well as the vanilla one (why not?) and the other new one in the c-room...name is escaping me right now. Not the lavender one. The lychee one.
