Alien Visions - eVo line VERY disappointed :(

Ok, lets get the taste is subjective mumbo jumbo out of the way, the reality is that this IS the place to have an opinion of juice. I elected to spend my monthly juice allowance on the eVo line in lieu of my normal Boba's 100ml regular purchase.

If you want to know what this stuff tastes like close you eyes and go back to 2009 and open up a bottle of Totally Wicked Tobacco. This juice is a huge step backward from whats available today let alone AVE's line of juice.

Here's what I got:

• Black Diamond - (the juice is pink) and tastes like a melted tobacco flavored candle.
• Whisper - (the juice is yellow) and tastes like a retro tobacco that could not have possibly been through the paces of reviewers. Total crap!

I love all of AVE's tobacco flavors and think the base, and the performance is superb if not the best around, but this line is ridiculous.

So, if I'm way off on this topic that is supposedly "subjective" please do me a favor and comment and/or link to a creatable reviewer.

I think the Evo line is outstanding. Obviously taste IS very subjective

It's obviously based on Halo or a Halo subsidiary. Several of the flavors taste like Halo. One I got tasted like Freedom, another like T56. And not just similar. Spot on! That said; I don't care for Halo or eVo.

It's high quality lab juice... the menthols are quite good - didn't care for some of the others...

Haven't read much about about eVo, but it's made by wholesaler Nicopure Labs who have been around for a while, and I think is a pretty large company. I may check out the lab-baccos from them.

Evo liquids sell through various vendors, not just Alien Visions, and is in no way affliated with Alien Visions. AVE just sells that line of liquid with their own stuff.

Most the of the Youttube review videos I've seen, EVO liquid is very uneven.

Yeah, that's what I'm getting too reading about them. Some seem really well done, some seem bland or poor. One of my fav NET vendors, GoodeJuice, carries the eVo line so I'll try a couple of the tobaccos next time I order from them.

I liked some of their non-tobacco juices, spiced apple and the peach ones were pretty good. Didn't care for black diamond either. Had to stop using them though, when I realized I was sensitive to PG.

A couple of the eVo cigar flavors aren't bad. Habana tastes like a mild cigar (although even a mild cigar is a cigar -- 10 ml will likely last the rest of my life lol). On that rare occasion I want to vape a cigar, there it is. Maraschino tastes like cherry flavored pipe tobacco. For once in a while, its a nice change of pace. I agree that the black diamond was not anything spectacular. Haven't tried the others.

If I could get my hands on some bobas I would like to try it but since hens' teeth are likewise scarce, av and their focacta business model can keep it.

Only had two so far...Whisper and Dark Chocolate. The whisper was great straight from the mail box. I found I don't care for chocolate Vapes....but the EVO chocolate is spot on the flavor.
No chemical aftertaste, little steep time .....I consider EVO a higher end juice. Not sure about any Halo affiliation cause they just taste nothing alike.
However, since I found GLV, not sure ill be ordering from anywhere else anyway.

The only flavor I did not like in the Evo line-up thus far is the Timber tobacco flavor. All the other I have tried are addicting (Grape Vape, Caramel Coconut, Banana Blitz, Dark Chocolate)

I got in a HUGE sampler of their liquids at the shop. I only tried the tobacco flavors and I was really unimpressed. IMO "Timber" was pretty close to a real "tobacco" flavor. It didn't taste like a cigarette and I don't want that taste anyway but it tasted like a good tobacco. The rest of their tobacco line was really bad. Very little difference in taste from liquid to liquid and poorly put together flavor profiles. Just no good. I also noticed a remarkable similarity to Halo's line of Tobacco liquids. I think Halo's liquid is terrible as well. That's just my taste though. If you like Halo you'll probably like eVo but I wouldn't recommend it.
