I liked Nicopure's EVO Timber e-liquid, which I found to be nicely tobacco-like, in a rough sort of way. It has very good throat hit at 12ml of nicotine strength, which is a plus for me as I continue trying to cut back on my nicotine intake. Vapor production is also quite decent. This juice is vaguely reminiscent of Halo's Freedom Juice, which is a compliment. I like Halo's tobacco flavored e-liquids, though their chemical tasting base takes awhile to fade away with extended steeping. These days I am pretty intolerant of e-liquids that use a lot of PG, so I can't really vape Halo e-liquids anymore. If you have no issues with heavy PG e-liquids, Halo's e-liquids are definitely worth checking out. I used to particularly like their Freedom Juice and Torque56 flavors, though they both require extra steeping, and neither has much throat hit at the lower nicotine levels.
Nicopure's EVO Black Diamond was a whole other, disappointing experience. It isn't tobacco-like at all, but is instead much more sickly sweet and perfumey in a floral sort of way - which I found to be kind of disgusting, at least with this e-liquid. Steeping it for over a week did not improve upon that experience. My wife says the vapor smells something vaguely like a hamster cage, but she also said that about the Timber's vapor. That's actually not bad, as she says most of my other e-liquids have smelled like ... to her, including Halo's e-liquids. Despite that, she still thinks they all smell miles better than any anolog cigarette, so she can tolerate them all well enough. She is actually allergic to tobacco smoke, but no e-liquid I've ever tried has ever caused her any allergy issues.
Both the Timber and Black Diamond Nicopue EVO e-liquids ran very well performance-wise in my ECHO clearomizers, which is a plus. My clearomizers ran longer, without having to be cleaned out as often compared to when I just use Vaperite's e-liquids by themselves. This is good, but I am also sensitive to PG, and the levels of PG in all of these Nicopure e-liquids (about a 50/50 mix) is a bit high for me. I can tolerate them, but only just barely. I have found they work much better for me when I mix them up with some of my mostly VG Vaperite e-liquid blends. When I do this, my equipment still lasts longer than usual, with less maintenence. So that's not bad, but it isn't all that amazing either. I will probably continue looking for a better Vaperite e-liquid replacement.
If you have no issues using high PG e-liquids, then you certainly might want to try out Nicopure's EVO e-liquids. Timber was pretty good overall, but I would take a pass on trying Black Diamond - unless you are looking for something that is sweet and perfume-like, that doesn't taste anything like tobacco at all. Everyone's tastes in e-liquid flavors is different, so I won't go as far as saying Black Diamond is flat out disgusting and should never be tried by anyone, ever, but it certainly isn't for me. It definitely isn't a good choice if you're looking for something in a tobacco-like flavor. I'd describe it as being more of a weird, fruity kind of flavor. Some folks like that stuff.
Does anyone have any other suggestions for good tobacco flavor e-liquids that are all or mostly VG based, but do not quickly clog up atomizers, cartomizers, clearomizers or tanks?
