I wanna know how come I could smoke the same tobacco for years, day after day, after day, but I have to change Vape's at least 3 times a day? Morning is one, then something different mid day, and nice low nic vape late at night. I enjoy vaping more than smoking (about 1 month analog free) so far, but I would really like to find a juice I can vape 95% of the time, or at least 75%. Right now I have the eGo and T-Rex, Kr808 with all the extras and 90+ juice flavors (and growing fast $$$$$). What ever I start with in the morning just seems to get tastless or worse as the day goes on, some flavors/vendors are better than others, for me BackwoodsBrew, and VaporBomb seem so hold up longer than the others but I still have to change it up a couple times during the day. If the wife finds out how much I am spending future posts may be in the "ex-breather" forum 8-o . Any and all advice is much appreciated.

Thanks

I think it has to do with appealing to your sense of smell and taste rather than just the addiction itself. I've been vaping since July, and I still change up my flavors 2-3 times a day. If I vape the same flavor all day, every day, it feels the same as having to eat the same food day after day, hour after hour.

Some talk about this "all day vape". I don't know if I can ever do that. It's not that I don't have flavors that I truly enjoy; I just like to change it up a little bit. This morning I did french toast, RY4 for mid-day, and I'm about to change to Wyatt Earp for the rest of the day.

We were all different and unique with our smoking habits, it's the same with vaping.

It wasn't really feasible to smoke three different brands per day. If there was only one flavor of juice I think none of us would know the difference, but who can resist with all the flavors.

As a smoker I would occasionally pick up a pack of djarum or a pack of Camel Turkish something or other for a change of pace.

Think of it like this. When you were smoking, did you really have this much choice in flavors? No. Sure, some analogs seemed to taste better than others, but they were all basically the same. I've been vaping for a couple of months now and I still vape all kinds of different flavors. I really don't have an all day vape, but I do have some flavors that I favor over others. Mornings I'll start with some sort of coffee flavor, during the day I might vape fruity flavors. On the way home from work I might vape RY4 or Hypnotic Mist. During the evening I might go back to coffee or fruit flavors.

I find that if I vape the same flavor the majority of the day, it tends to "lose its flavor." It doesn't really lose its flavor, though. My tastebuds have just become used to it, just like they did with analogs. Your "sweet spot" might end up being three or four flavors that you end up vaping more than any others.

One of the wonderful things about vaping is the wide variety of flavors.

The reason you used to be able to use the same flavor over and over (cigarette brand) is because your scent and taste senses were screwed up by the tar and chemicals in cigarettes. You can't taste much when you're a smoker. But with vaping- the day you start is the day you realize there's a world of flavors out there. But to be honest with you I do have and have had all day vapes for the past 7 months. The past month has been an Apple Teaser binge. Before that, it was waffle. I guess everyone is different, you know :)

One of the things I enjoy most about vaping, is the variety of choice. The person who talked me into the world of vaping only has two or three flavors he uses. Well me, on the other hand has a huge supply of 5-10ml bottles of flavors. I just grab one or two, sometimes without looking, and I'm good for the day. The next day same thing. I do have my favorites, and I have larger bottles of the ones that I really like. I think it is all a matter of personal preference. I do not care for the tobacco flavors, but love the coffees, and fruits.

I think a lot of people do settle on all-day vapes, but it seems like even those people have a couple.

After 4 months, I finally got to that point. I have 3 regular flavors, and then one random one for variety. And the rest of my juice collection is collecting dust, and will be given away to some new vapers I know.

For the first 3 or 4 months, I was rotating flavors several times a day and amassed a collection of somewhere in the neighborhood of 40 flavors. It was getting ridiculous. But I was so excited by the variety, and with my new taste buds, so surprised at how good everything tasted.

But, I've kind of settled down now. Having 4 flavors isn't a lot really. And since I can just buy big bottles of 3 of them, I don't spend much money on juice anymore. And to be truthful, I'm not all that interested in trying a bunch of new stuff anymore. I just have my 10ml "random" bottle, which rotates every time I order, and that's enough variety for me now.

Some people never reach that point. Others wind up with even fewer regular flavors than I have. I have heard of people vaping the same one or two flavors for months.

The important thing is just that you're happy. And I think there is some truth to the way smoking kills your tastebuds making you more willing to put up with the same flavor all the time. But also, each cig brand has its own special blend of chemicals to make you addicted to THAT specific brand. And, finally, there's not a lot of choice in cig flavors. It's pretty much tobacco and menthol. So, it's not like you could have really experimented that much even if you wanted to.

I can't use the same flavor for more than half a day or I get tired of it.
That is why I always leave the house with at least two small 3ml bottles of different flavors.

Sometimes I leave the house with a little drawstring bag of 10 or 15 different flavors.
Because sometimes I never know what I'm going to feel like having.
:)

But yeah, there are a couple of flavors I could probably vape all day if I absolutely had to.
But I could only do that with some of my tobacco-type flavors.

I was just thinking. Most vapers seem to be at the very least open to the idea of trying out lots of flavors -- sure, they usually settle on 2 or 3 that they really like and those end up being their primary vapes... just realizing the tobacco industry sure lost out on a lot of business

not sure if it's because everyone thought smoking was for the Marlboro Man, and all his imitators, but nobody wanted to be 'not macho' (with all these fruity flavors the Marlboro Man might think were for pansies...)

is that why there weren't so many flavors of cigarettes? if they'd sold packs of 5 cigarettes at a fair price -- that came in tons of flavors, who knows, maybe we all would have switched flavors throughout the day the way we do with vaping

I have to say that vaping with all the flavors is closer to smoking a pipe or good cigars with all the different tobacco styles and tastes available. When I am home I tend to change up often because it’s easy to do, when I go out I grab a 10ml bottle and I’m off. I do have favorites that I always use, It’s great to be able to use something that dose more than just fill your mouth & lungs with the taste of smoke.

When you do you send out some of your flavor collection make sure you send them my way since I don't even know where to start on E-Juices. I order 2 5ml bottle from Liberty Flight to try but I don't think that would last me too long.

Just as a rule of thumb, you should figure about 30 ml a week, so best to stock up some so you don't run out between orders.
