Haven't posted for a long time. I've been using an e-cig in one form or another for a couple of years but I've never been able to completely kick analogs for very long. I think I've found the problem and it appears to be my choice in all day vapes. In the past, I've been going for sweeter, fruit and/or soda flavors. My 3 favoirtes are Green Apple, Swedish Fish and Mt. Dew from Vapor Renu.

As much as I LOVE these flavors, there always seemed to be something lacking as far as satisfying my craving for an actual cigarette. What I've found that really kills my analog cravings are COFFEE flavors. I find this odd because I'm not a huge coffee fan but I find a lot of the coffee flavored liquids quite tastey.

What I'm using now is a blend of several different coffee flavors from various vendors as well as some left over DIY stuff. It has a variety of flavors ranging from Espresso to Cappuccino with some Bavarian Creme and Kahlua mixed in. I know it sounds strange but it's actually quite good and it absolutely KILLS any analog cravings I have.

The probelm I have with it is that it clogs up my cartos rather quickly. I've even thinned it down a couple of times with distilled water and it still ruins cartos faster than a dry burn. I can get maybe two decent uses out of a carto with this stuff before it's completely clogged and useless. With any other liquids, I can use a carto for 3-4 days.

So now I need to find a slightly sweet coffee flavor with just a bit of bite that won't clog up my cartos. Think a cup of joe with 2 sugars and half a shot of whiskey. any help y'all can give me would be greatly appreciated!

Hopefully not stating the obvious here, but...what nic level are you using?

I was able to easily quit by using 24mg juices. At this moment, I am stocked up with a bunch of 18mg and I find I'm vaping MUCH more often - though still not craving a cigarette itself. I still have a little 24mg juice in flavors I don't really like - just in case.

Sorry, can't help with the coffee flavors. Just getting started with trying different flavors.

I like Virgin Vapors Kona Velvet Milkshake and the Caramel Kona Milkshake for coffee flavors. If you contact Annette, she will formulate something for you. I use cartomizers and am able to keep them going for 3 or 4 days, even though my juices are all VG.

Heather's Heavenly Vapes has Java Smooth, Mocha Java Smooth and another called Serendipity which are all coffee tastes. Serendipity is actually a naturally extracted tobacco, which is absolutely scrumptious. Her Huntsman and Darkhorse are wonderful to replace cigs, without trying to imitate a cig. All of HHV's juices are very easy on cartomizers. My cartos usually last anywhere from 4 days to over a week with HHV juices.

What brand and type of cartomizers are you using? Perhaps a change in those could help you, as well.

Thanks for the tips. I will loook into those.
The Mocha Java Smooth sounds really interesting.

As far as carto brands, I've tried all kinds. This juice I have is just leathal on cartos. I've even tried dripping it and it burned out the atomizer after 3 or 4 fills.

Sounds good but $21.00 for 30 ml??? :censored:

Theyve been a top juice supplier, always in the top 3 for 3+ years now for a reason. You can buy 100ml and save a few pennies if thats what youre into. You can also get sample sizes to try them out.

I have zero issues paying a premium price for their juices after tasting them.

I can second the above post for the Kona Velvet Milkshake from Virgin Vapors. It's my all time favorite. Organic Kona Velvet Milkshake E-liquid | Virgin Vapor | Electronic Cigarette Organic e-Liquid | Electronic Cigarettes

The Espresso and Kona Cream from Vaperite are a close second and third. Organic Flavored Double Espresso | Organic Flavored Juices | Vaperite E-Juices | Vaperite.com

Organic Flavored Kona Cream | Organic Flavored Juices | Vaperite E-Juices | Vaperite.com

Both vendors use all natural and organic flavoring, which I believe make a huge difference. Although they both recommend 100% vg, they offer custom mixes with pg if requested.

Copper Creek makes a great Coffee, too. Copper Creek Coffee A slightly sweet black roasted coffee, I like to add a little more cream and sweetness with some Sweet Cream e-liquid from My Freedom Smokes for that perfect cup..er vape...of coffee. Sweet Cream E-Liquid - MyFreedomSmokes.com
___

I think any e-liquid that uses a dark flavor like the coffee's will clog a cartomizer faster than a lighter or clear juice. I have found that the Ikenvape Platinum and Fusion cartomizers allow for a couple of more tankfulls of liquid than the other cartos that I have used in the past. They also seem to provide a slightly cleaner flavor, too. The problem is the vendor has trouble keeping them in stock.

For a price like that, I can guess they would be good but I can't afford premium prices on a generic budget.

I can certainly understand being on a budget, but once I find a juice that I truly love I don't mind paying a moderate amount more for it. Considering what I spent on cigarettes, I'm getting away with murder by vaping.

I think I remember reading a long time back that carmel coloring causes issues with cartos. That could be the culprit as my mixture is really dark.

You might go to their vendor forums and ask if they have current discount codes and get on the mailing list of Virgin Vapor, because she usually announces discounts monthly. HHV doesn't currently have any discounts going, but for a premium juice vendor, their prices are very reasonable. Another reasonably priced premium juice vendor called Velvet Cloud Vapor has one called Night Shift, that I hear lots of people raving about. Haven't tried them myself, but will be soon. They have a thread in the suppliers forum area where they announced a discount code for ECF members.

You might also look into the offerings at Mt. Baker Vapor. Really reasonable prices, super fast shipping, great customer support. They have several to choose from, including coffee's, teas, etc. And, you can have them custom mix for you. Several of my IRL friends buy their coffee vapes from MBV.

Another good vendor with reasonable prices and a few coffee vapes, one even that sounds right up your alley is Vaping Zone. Right now they have 15% off all liquids if order more that $20. Code is LIQUID15

They can charge those ridiculous prices because people like zapped will buy it regardless. :)

Actually....those of us who became rather fond of that flavor were quite upset when he pulled it from his offerings due to cost increase of the flavoring from his supplier. He felt it was wrong to offer it at that time.
We who dig the flavor pretty, much hounded him to keep it available....I myself told him directly...he should offer it as a premium juice option and that I and others WOULD pay the higher price for such a great juice.

He followed what his cutomers wanted and brought it back to the masses.

Mainly....if one could have found an exact replacement juice for a lower price....then it would follow that the customer would stop purchasing the more expensive juice....but...sadly or happily (depending on who you are) that was not the case.

Again....one person trash...is another person gold mine. Prices...like flavor is subjective. :2cool:

Some coffee eliquids worth considering:

Retail juices:
CopperCreek Coffee and Cappuccino
BackwoodsBrew Espresso and Cappuccino
HighbrowVapor Cappuccino Diablo
ThePlumeRoom Ultimate Expresso (in spite of the 'x')

DIY flavoring concentrates:
FlavourArt Coffee Espresso flavoring
Want2Vape Campfire Coffee flavoring

And yes, most of them will gunk up coils much quicker than other juices will.

Those prices arent ridiculous have you seen Juicy Vapor or Pink Spot? I think 50 bucks for 100ml is pretty reasonable especially when it tastes that good. :)

Yes I have, and I won't buy from either of them anymore either. :)

Hey, I know what you're saying, if I simply loved a juice I'd pay whatever I had to for it. Fortunately I've found plenty of great juice from several vendors who have much cheaper prices.
