Hello, it seems the that the Boge LR or NR is a good cartomizer that many people like, but when it comes to the rest of setups - tanks and crearmizers, they are more of a hit or miss. So, my question is, is there a tank or clearmizer out there that works better than the rest in terms of reliability, easy of use and giving the purest flavor? Thanks.

I have a few of the 16/17 tanks and actually don't care for them much.

These are what I prefer as far as tanks go: 6ml DCT Tanks

I think the 16/17 tanks actually impart a bit of plasticy flavor into the more subtle juices. Could just be me, could just be that the juices taste a bit plasticy. But I like the DCT tanks better. Plus they hold more :D

I have used the Boge F16 for months. I have 3 now (I only vape one flavor, so don't need an arsenal). I think they are really nice tanks, but can't say if they would play well with acidic juices that tend to crack things. Since they have clear plastic...I have my doubts. Not an issue with my juice, so I don't worry about it. You can use whatever 45mm cartomizer you want...including non-flanged...with the F16s. I mostly used single coil Boge cartos and punched them myself. The ones that are sold with the F16 are dual coil, I believe, and I'm not a fan of dual coil. JMO.

I tried "clearomizers" and found they were not for me. I don't care for any of the wick style tanks. Other people like 'em. Go figure.

Now I'm using a bottom feeder Vmod...so tanks have become moot for me.

My starter kit came with really cheap CE4s. I hated them and was sort of glad when they cracked from citrus juice. I then went to a T3. I had major leak/gurgle problems right out of the box. A replacement head fixed some of that but not all. Then it was a Mini Vivi Nova. Better but tough to keep the wick fed. Now it's a Protank and I really like it a lot. No leaking and it only gurgles when it's really, really low. I've only been doing this since the Late February, so there's still a lot to try, but I can definitely recommend the Protank for anyone looking for a good clearo. Gotta like a glass tank. Next on the list is cartos and if I like that, then a carto tank.

I dont really care for carto tanks despite them being something of a bread n butter device. Seems like a lot of work to fill and punch and prime and keep from burning, cartos are disposable and can get expensive, plus good tanks often cost a chunk.

I may revisit it though with the new F16 coming out of Smok. For now im happy with 5 setups including eGo-eVods, mech-RBAs, mech-Protanks, mech-RDAs... All rebuilt immediately with ss mesh/ cotton and ribbon kanthal.

Wait... Why do i want to get carto tanks again? My current stuff rocks! :D

Its really true what they say, this game can make you a hoarder.

What do you guys think about KANGER T3 EGO Bottom Coil Tank?

If you get a good one you're Golden, if not... All depends, IMO, on the head -- same goes with replacement heads... If they come out of the wrap good they're fine, otherwise... If you take the time, and get a good rebuild, which for me is hit-and-miss at best they can be rock-solid... I've retired mine for the time being until I can figure out how to consistently get a decent rebuild on the little buggers!!

I am a newbie in here too and have always been happy with my Ego C, but after reading a little bit in here I feel like I am maybe selling myself short!

Don't sell yourself short... It's fun to experiment if you've got the money, but otherwise stick with what works for you... ;)
