I have tried an assortment of varities and flavors so far and they are pretty much all the same, they do each have a *slight* hint of the acclaimed flavor but all smell strongly of caramelized sugar. I can't even taste the flavor behind it or smell it in the vapor, and it isn't because I lack taste buds, there is really not much flavor, anyone else experience this?

This is just smelling the liquid before even vaping it, some flavors like Kona Coffee are noticable, I tried the Coca Cola juice and I get a little bit of flavor but mostly just really the same sugar taste.

I've given up on the flavors. I vape with unflavored now. The glycerin that I cut it with sweetens the taste slightly, and the unflavored tastes a bit like popcorn. I like it. Relaxing.

I so agree. I am very new to this, and I have found that most of the different flavors dont have much flavor. i have tried mixing my own and it either doesnt really taste like anything, or the fruit flavors just taste sweet and fruity.

They just seem lacking.

I think my next attempt will be taking a tabacco flavored vg like Tennessee Cured from JC and just adding a little lorann to small amounts to mix it up.

Any thoughts?

Is there ANY non sweet tobacco flavors that acually have some tobacco taste?? Please someone tell me because I'm gonna order soon and so far I think I'm gonna try Hilton.

Hilton would be your best bet if you don't like sweet tobacco. Marb is nice but is still pretty sweet for a tobacco blend.

Glad to hear it isn't just me. I have tried Tobbaco, Chocalate, and once a strawberry. Almost no difference at all. I have a bottle of TW cammel coming in with my DSE901 but I probably won't get to it until I use up the carts in the starter kit. I don't know if it will actually taste like cammel cigs, but cammels are what got me hooked on analogs so I hope they hook me on vaping.

I'm getting really frustrated with my inability to stop using analogs. Like pull my hair out frustrated. Can't wait for this new set up to come in, I really want to start this exersise program but theres little point in it till I put the analogs away.

Same here! I started smoking again after my motorcycle accident and now I'm out of shape big time. I tried going back to my old workout program and it's next to imposible to do while smoking.

I just wanna find a strong, 0 sweetness e-liquid. Also a low sweetness menthol too because I like both.

I personally like the Flu Cured tobacco. If I am looking for a tobacco flavor. The best way to describe the taste is going into my grandfathers smoke house when I was a kid. That hickory smoke taste and smell.

Imo, the Kent, Hilton from ruyandirect/heaven's gifts and Janty's Black Tea are not sweet, with Kent the best tobacco taste.

As far as flavors that I've tried and that are strong and not just sweet. ruyan's Mint is definitely minty, and their Vanilla is strong. Janty's Menthol and Cappuccino are strong, whereas the Cappuccino from ruyan is weak. imho....

Well, I was a menthol smoker and I like the Janty menthol. But my point here was to point out that not all flavors are 'just sweet with only a hint of flavor' - the experience of the OP... so far, anyway. Janty's menthol is strong and the ruyan Mint, you likely wouldn't like - although I thought it was more spearmint than peppermint...

Where do I find janty's menthol? I found kent at heavensgifts..

Freshsmoking.com has a whole lot of Janty juice. I was googling Janty Cappuccino which no one had and went deep in google to find Fresh Smoking who has a lot of it - or did - don't buy it all ;-)

Home page

Janty juice - 3 pages of it - stuff I hadn't seen - Newport, Polar mint, RY2, 3, 4 (well, I've seen that, but it is good - I tried RY3 and 4 is better), Lcky strike, lemon, coconut, etc. :

Deluxe eLiquid - freshsmoking.com

.... plus they shipped in 2 days on two separate orders from N. Brunswick NJ to Ohio. Someone else here mentioned they are the 'superman of shipping'. I got some of their DIY VG/PG and they have Loranns flavors there too. Over $99 free shipping and they threw in some bottles and eyedroppers for free with my VG/PG order.

im generally "new" into this esmoking thing- about a month, but have completely dropped analog and not even thought of going back. Ive tried to read a bit on these forums and from what i gather on this post + what ive learned and experienced it could be that your own smoking device doesnt bring out the flavor, or that the flavors you buy have been under too much heat during transport?

I normally order my flavors from janty - simply because i like the fact they ship so fast ( 2 days from holland to dk ) and because they only have tested flavors ( from a university lab in italy - better than nothing imho ) that undergo testing.

I think right now i have about 17 bottles of different flavors and i can taste _all_ of them. Some are better than others, but they do all have specific taste. My girlfriend who used to smoke but no longer does, have tried vaping a bit of the diff ones too - just for kicks, and she too can taste them - so its not just my tastebuds ;)

Im smoking on the janty dura-c, a 901, a jantystick, a mini fogger and i even tried some of them on an intelligcig clone, but they all DO have the taste.

For the best tobacco substitute i mix (half/half) ry4 with tobacco - both flavors are high and from jantys own shop - to me it gives it that dirty smoke feel/smell/taste. So if you do have ry4 lying around try mixing that up with something thats supposedly a "normal" tobacco flavor - i dont know why as the ry4 is somewhat sweet, but in my tastebuds it does give a genuine tobacco flavor.

Hope that helps a bit!

Thanks. I thought at first that I'd definitely want a tobacco taste and while I think that the Kent (no pun ;-) and Hilton have a pretty good tobacco taste, I'm now preferring other stuff. There is some tobacco flavor in RY4 but for my palette it isn't dominant - I'm tasting the butterscotch/caramel more. And you're right, I think all of the Janty juices have a good _amount_ of flavor (whether you like them or not). Haven't tried them all though.

IMO, order a couple ounces of Menthol crystals for around $5 from a place like Mountain Rose Herbs | Bulk organic herbs, spices & essential oils and turn any flavors you don't like, or unflavored, into menthol flavored. Make it as strong or as subtle as you like. That's what I do anyway and I used up all the juice I didn't like by turning it into menthol, wasting nothing.
