All melon tastes like soap to me

I've tried four and every one of them taste like soap. ITC Vapes - Melon Blast, Cuttwood - Monster Melons, SB - Madrina and a house juice I tried at a B&M. It really sucks too because I really like melon. Is it just me or does anybody else notice this?

I actually like Melon Blast as a budget juice from ITC but it's cantaloupy and candyish. I've noticed that the cheap honeydew flavoring tastes like dry erase marker to me and that watermelon often tastes artificial. It's too bad because melon and melon blends are an obvious ADV.

The melon flavors I like best are Seduce juice's Jezebel and Nebuchadnezzar, but they are strongish--best vaped 100% vg or in a tank. Alpha's Hoops is oustanding but it will cost you.

It would be nice to find some good melon flavors that don't taste like artificial/candy junk.

My next buy is going to be with Adirondack. They have some melon flavors and blends that the folks over at reddit seem to think highly of.

I haven't found very many good and real-tasting melon juices over the years, most have been very artificial or candyish. I actually can't recall which ones I've had were good at this point

If you like honeydew, Hedon's Bite from the Njoy Artist Collection was a pretty good honeydew flavor that I tried recently. I was disappointed because in trying it I had been looking for the other flavor ingredients in it, but for my taste buds the melon just overpowered everything. In its defense, it was probably one of the best melon flavors I've vaped . . . too bad it wasn't melon I was looking for

You could try spew by mt baker. Very strong melon with no soap taste.

I make my own fruit juices with Flavor Concentrates no artificial additives flavoring. Watermelon is very good. Waiting for the cantelope flavoring to show up in my mailbox I do add a bit of liquid stevia to make it a bit sweet. and am using 50/50. And flavoring at 20%.

Hoops by Alpha is my favorite Melon (maybe my favorite sauce). It tastes pretty close to Madrina. A little less cream and a little more bite.

I havent tried any melon yet, but almost all fruit loops I try taste like soap. Except one, That only does american shipping now

I mix 3 FW melons together and a lot of people like it. watermelon, cantaloupe, and honeydew equal amounts.

Celestial Honeydew from Virgin Vapor tastes pretty authentic to me, not at all like melon candy...or soap.

Good Life Melon Boba, is dope. But I havent had it since my days of clearomizers and carto tanks.. no idea how it tastes on a subohm RDA or Tank.

That said, I recently found a forgotten about stash of Mr Good Vape bottles.. I was a Moon Sugar junkie for a while, and loved it so much I wanted to try their whole lineup. Must have forgotten I bought the stuff because they were all sealed still. Anyway, tried them all, some were good, some were just ok(but all of them taste correct, no funkyness. Proper premium level liquid)

I left the Melon head to the end because I dont really like melon vapes, because they usually suck. Man let me tell you, I was surprised as heck! Honeydew Canteloupe(the perfect melon combo) AND Papaya. Super realistic taste, like literally, food accurate. And the finish.. oh man, it juts hit the right note.

Vaped it on a single coil built Veritas, 1.1ohm, anywhere from 20-30 watts on the Hana V3. Like almost all Mr Good Vape, its a cloud storm, but it is rich in flavour.

Cant guaratee you'll like it, but I can say Ive tried Cuttwoods melon and Suicide Bunnys melon, and I agree with you on both. (Though, don't write off Cuttwood on that flavor.. Cuttwood Unicorn Milk and Sugar Bear are freaking amazingly accurate flavors of true to life strawberry nesquick and Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal)

I just got some of this and I would agree. Very nice stuff. I also got some of their organic watermelon which I haven't tried yet.

And since this is the only eliquid I vape after searching for almost four years, I would not hesitate in recommending it, even tho I have not tried it because I am a tobacco vapor. But if it is coming from NLV, it has to be good.

I've found any melon/cucumber eliquid tastes like pickle juice to me. Everyone I've ever tried! Perchance does fresh Cilantro taste like soap to you? The reason I ask is because it does to me! Like I squirted straight dish soap in my mouth! I (along with a lot of other people) have a gene mutation that makes certain things taste worlds different than they are supposed to! (Supertaster gene) I blame that for melon vapes tasting like pickle juice. LOL! I know in the real world all melons have absolutely no flavor whatsoever to me. They all taste just like water.

Just a thought.

2 and a half years and I still have not found a good melon vape. Some got close. I wonder if it is the nature of the flavoring fluids that it does not translate into yumminess.

I tried one melon flavor - tasted like soap! Never wanted to try another after that. Thought I was crazy!

And like ckquatt - I am a supertaster. So there must be a connection there! (Altho fresh cilantro tastes yummy to me!??)

I really enjoy Goodlife's Melon Boba - although it's been hit and miss; sometimes it's great, others it's blergh.

Can't stand Madrina either... had such high hopes for it!

Do you Soak your RBA/RTA's in Dawn by any chance?
