All Mt Baker Vapor juices damage plastic tanks?

Hellooooo! So I was just checking out mount baker Vapor's site, I figured I would give their juices a try after hearing so many good things about them here at ECF. All of their flavors say "Warning: This flavor has been reported to damage plastic tanks." Not just some of them, all of them. So, is this really the case? Do all of their flavors damage plastic tanks? Or was it a slip-up, or possibly they're being over-cautious? My preferred tank is a plastic, so that's a deal breaker for me. Anyone have any experience with this?

My tank thing is mainly due to my battery. I have an Innokin MVP 2.0 and I've had a hell of a time finding tanks that will fire with it. I bought two new tanks when I bought the MVP (one was a Protank 3) and neither of them works well with it. The only tank I've tried that works properly with it is my ancient T3S. It might be plastic, but at least it works. At this point, I'm kinda done with throwing money away on tanks that don't work with my battery, so I guess I'm just sticking with the T3S.

It doesn't matter where you get them from. Certain flavors will crack plastic tanks. MBV is thoughtful enough to give you a warning and a list but others are not so thoughtful. Just because you don't see a similar warning somewhere else doesn't mean it's not a tank cracker. Cinnamon and citrus are especially hard on plastic tanks.

Not all of them say it, though some that didn't say it before seem to say it now.... I think maybe they're just putting the warning up if they get any reports of it cracking a tank, even if it may not be true.

Good idea to check this list: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ices-flavors-crack-tanks-ce2s-clearos-40.html
Thanks! Yeah, I thought the same thing. That they were just putting that on everything they had received a report on for safety's sake. I shouldn't have said ALL flavors, I didn't look at all of them, but I did look at the bulk of them and it was on all the ones I looked at.

I know that some flavors crack plastic tanks regardless of where they come from, and at first, I was glad to see the warning and I thought it was really helpful. But then I just got confused because the warning was on every flavor I looked at, and I looked at a whole bunch of them. And they weren't your typical tank-cracking type flavors. It just seemed unlikely to me that all of those flavors were tank crackers, I figured it was either a mistake or over-cautiousness. While I do think those warnings are helpful, it loses its helpfulness and kind of defeats the purpose when you put it on everything.

It's hard to know what WILL crack your tanks now, because there are so many different tanks out. Polycarb tanks are the ones that crack, but there are variations in the polycarb that can make it resistant to some of the juices, but not all.

I know this isn't super helpful to the OP, but, you're using an older style tank(T3s) so just be aware that it's probably least resistant to any of the tank crackers.

All of MBV eliquids are subjective. I've had albino drake which instantly destroyed an atty with 2 drops (and clearomizers), but also huge success with some liquids like cinnamon roll (I've ordered multiple times, sometimes a darker liquid, sometimes crystal clear).

Here are my liquids that you can't really go wrong with in tanks from baker:
Wintergreen
Spearmint
Menthol
Extreme Ice

These are OK in an evod

You shouldn't have an issue. Stay away from cinnamon and maybe root beer. Good luck.

False.

It depends on the type of plastic used in your tank.

It also seems to be juices that have cinnamon AND citrus oils in them.

You can find a list of juices that crack tanks by doing a forum search here and using it as a guideline when ordering.

Good luck with Mt Baker. IMO the only reason people are telling you they are good is because theyre cheap. I had the worst juice and customer service experience EVER there and thats with 5 years of vaping and trying hundreds of juices.

I agree on the CS issue. But, it happens.

As for the juice... MBV was my all day vape for over a year and I will always love them for that, but there is a better juice out there. Unfortunately, like everything else in vaping, it's subjective. My new ADV is nearly as cheap as MBV but tastes better to me.
