I have a question and some concerns here. First i use the IKV HV 510 atty on a few bottom fed mods. I keep the atty pretty moist. I hate dry hits! But i have been checking to make sure the atomizer chamber was not flooded for the last 6 or 7 attys i have used. I use typically a MonkeyBoxx VV or a Red sky mod. The chamber is not filled even a little bit, just the wick being wet i guess. I love IKV attys they hit well and all but there life span for me is so small. I dont know what is going on? I vape heavily all day long but i dont think i should be going through attys so quickly. I also just got a bunch of cannon attys from IKV and they are impossible to use on bottomfed mods. The juice just slumps out the bottom of the atty and in to the catch cup or all over the mod. Or the hits are impossibly dry and wreck my throat. Everybody raves about these attys so i suspect i am doing something wrong? any help or advice would be appreciated. And just in case i use the HV atty at about 5.7 volts

A couple of things could be going wrong for you.

Dripping on a hot coil can cause premature failure as well as firing attys in a semi flooded or flooded state.

Another one is pushing the attys to break them in. I have done this in the past. Not with Isaac's attys but I have rushed JoyEs in the past and they pop, especially at HV.

The leaking issues with the Cannon series is no greater than what I have experienced in the past. AAMOF they do tighten up after seasoning. Finding that delicate balance between dry and leaking is indeed frustrating at times.

Yeah a lot of people do not know that attys need to be broken in before goin crazy on em, I have been using the cannons on my reo mini for a couple days now and I am actually happier with them than regular 510s. I know what you are saying about the leaking into the catch cup but I really think that there is a learning curve on how much to squeeze(with this specific atty) and once you get it down they will work a lot better for you, I have only been using them for a couple days but I have already gotten significantly better at using them. Ikenvape does offer insurance on atties too so that is a thought. I can honestly say that I have never, not even one time, had one of isaacs attys die in a day or two and I am pretty close to a chain vaper. I would try to alternate your atomizers as much as possible for the first few days at least because it sounds like you might be goin hard on them from the get go.

I guess I should slow down on the attys I vape until they are really hot to the touch I guess I have to stop chain vaping. Most of the time I get the attys really hot then let it cool down and then go at it again. I really wish attys were more durable. And I will also switch them out more often.

We all gotta do what we gotta do to stay off analogs. If chain-vaping is what you must do to get maximum satisfaction, it would be a good idea to alternate with two PVs all times. That way each one would get a couple of minutes cooling break while you are running the other one. That's what I used to do back in my chain-vaping days and most of my atties lasted a long time.

You may also want to up your nic from what you are presently vaping.

thanks to all your advice i am on day 5 or 6 with my newest atty... and its still kicking!! I was just using them wrong and was over taxing them with heat etc. No more chain vaping for me and i am really getting the hang of feeding the atties now. I was really scared i was going to have to give up bottom feeders all together.
