Yup anything that is True to size and realistic in appearance CAN(up to law enforcements discretion)be considered a prosecutable offense...

those of us that admire such items keep them out of public site and don't go around showing them off or flashing them around if someone freaks out and says you were threatening an action "whether you were or not" can get you in a world of trouble
just owning it leaves you open for problems

which will require a FULL body cavity search every-time you go to the airport
but if you walk in with a fake and make a threat yes you are screwed

I intentionally made it without a batteries, it takes power only from a wall socket.

That would be too far, we see images of such devices all the time in TV and film. What you don't want to do is post instructive how-to's for these type of mods on ECF. That is where the real trouble would start
That's only because I would like to make one JUST to give my HR Manager a heart attack for fussing about me vaping at my desk
