Raidy, a barometer, what a great idea. An auto switch is the best idea and ultimate end goal. The button only a temporary fix. Thank you for your continued contributions to the vaping community. I wish Electra-pipes great success with this technology and hope a firm in the US is able to produce a version in the near future as well. CHEERS!!

According to the theory comes the practice:

First atty with my new patented built-in control. No switches, no buttons, no potentiometer - but still fully adjustable.
Simply pull the mouth piece and "smoke" or Setup. Just by breathing air to regulate the strength of the "smoke".

(Codename: Mambo number 5)
inside is:A small genisis-like atty, a 14500 accu an my new controller.

It's really fun to "smoke" so regulated.:)

And here is the big one with 18650 accu:

Wow.... Just had to read about 40 pages or so to catch back up after a break to take care of real life.... Amazing work raidy, and can't wait to see this new atty.

Have my scuba gen still I got from the co op. Pulled out the tupperware I had it stored in since i moved, and looked st the pieces and wish I had got around to building it. some day ill get around to it

So I got my 10 points for reading it once... But since I took such a long break, shouldn't i get another stack?

Sounds awesome raidy. Sounds like it's configured to hit like a cigarette, could they be reconfigured to hit more like a pipe or cigar? I only smoked cigarettes but I always noticed how pipe or cigar smokers took different kind of draws. More like a slow mouth draw compared to a fast deep lunge draw for a cigarette. That wooden cigar you made with new controller in cigar-mode would be awesome!!

btw - to shorten a bit the waiting:

@ Gummy Bear: whatever happened to the beautiful wooden cigar you built in the very beginning of this thread? is it still in use? d' like to have some news about it (or - if ever - newer stuff...) :)

It kinda sorta met with ill fate.
Note to self ,, don't take you new wood cigar mod with you when you mow the yard.

Yep I ran it over and mulched it all in a split second.

Finally finished reading this all from start to finish. 2 years worth of thread in about 3 days worth of reading while I should have been sleeping (I waited till the wife fell asleep then went and sat on the couch reading and vaping).

@Raidy - Thank you so much for everything that you have and will continue to contribute to this community. It is people like you that make things better for all of us.

@GummyBear - I'm sorry to hear about your cigar-mod. It was very nice looking. (PS, I only want half of my points, donate the other half to the orphaned offspring of Wile E. Coyote so they can purchase tools from ACME to continue their father's mission)
