Please don't let the words of a few individuals curve your view and opinion of the rest of us and the respect that we have for what you have done. Your ideas have not failed...maybe more misunderstood. There are a few new people that have exploded on here with their opinion, and feel it just simply because they quickly read through the threads. The are always bad apples in every bunch, you just simply and painfully have to wait for those bad apples to rot away to nothing. The unfortunate side of technology, is that any true idiot with a computer and a connection....or even a phone....can run through like a bull disrupting and disturbing the normal day to day friendly activities and discussions of the open forums. Maybe they feel the need to be seen and heard, simply because in real life they are neither.
I now understand your reaction, and am glad to see two great people stand up and work things out....which can be very difficult with everyone throwing an opinion in. I have watched your posts for almost a year now, and have made few comments. We have not spoken in private or in threads...but I hope this one stands out and catches your eye, and the majority are not tossed aside with the minority. Those of us that know where the ideas started....and know where the future of vaping lies.....in YOUR hands, and in the hands of the other brilliant minds you inspire.

There's probably a lot of stuff that's gone on with the Genesis in other places we're not aware of. My feeling is that it was sort of a "last straw" situation. I'm sure Raidy has been battling the same thing with others trying to profit from the work he has so graciously and generously shared. I can't really blame him for being angry. I mean really, how hard is it to reply to a PM.
On the other hand, trying to keep anything "open source" is a difficult thing to control. Just look at open source software. There are plenty of makers out there that have commandeered open source software into commercial proprietary products. I think it's a case of "trying to do the impossible" here.

I have been quite and read everything going on here today. This is a shame is all i can say. Raidy please dont let the words of a few people discourage you in any way. you know how 99% of us feel about you and the respect we have for you and all that you shared. STURM you are a good person who wants to share your G Tank and i believe you did this without making any financhial gain. I am really sorry of all the words being thown at STURM and accusations of profit. The turner is getting the profit.
I am not much for words but just want Raidy and STURM to know that many people are behind both of you. you a both wonderfull people who want to share their knowledge in the vaping world.

SOOOOOOOOO.......... this problem is the lack of a response - or a lack of communication. Surely that's not an insurmountable problem ---- hopefully it's not, anyway -- and some of you who are in communication with sturm ought to be able to get these two guys together.
It would be a gigantic loss for Raidy to leave this forum (I'm very new to vaping but even I can see his genius).

It sure doesn't sound like it's been resolved to me - hopefully I'm wrong (if so this won't be the first or last time).
Just wanna say thanks to raidy for all his impeccable work and contributions to the community. After reading some more I have concluded that there is no bad guy here and that all ignorant posts should be ignored and do not represent the rest of the community here. I retract any posts that have been made that may seem so in the moment of conversation.

Raidy, again, I commend you for for the insertion and expanding what was possible in vaping as well as your generosity in sharing Genisis with all of us. Your work is and has been among the best I have ever seen and I for 1 will always respect you and the contributions you made.
My gratitude and respect also goes out to all the other modders out there who have helped make vaping more enjoyable for all of us. I hope this chapter of in-fighting is now behind us all and we can get back to what we all came here to do in the first place.... To make the best darned PV devices available anywhere for any cost and put the Chinese cookie cutters to shame while having a good time discussing our triumphs and failures with good people who share in our passion.

I didn't say that just let it go, I only apologized for saying it where everyone could read it. I said what I meant, we're all adults and should be able to take negative criticism.
I just finished reviewing what I could find on the 306/357 new atomizer that is being manufactured soon. It was mentioned in ooSTURMoo's coop thread as being part of a commercial violation of Raidy's design. It actually has absolutely nothing to do with the genisis design. So as far as I can tell, Mr. Raidy's open source vision has not been compromised anywhere to date. If you are facing battles we are not aware of, Mr. Raidy we would like to know. It may help paint a more understanding light on your decisions (not that you in any way need to justify your actions. I am just curious).

I know of a couple european vendors who sell something very similar to the genisis but use wick and not ss. This could be what he was talking about or it could be people on other forums idk.
