Yes, it’s like the secret of the Atomic Bomb, the Rosenberg’s didn’t give it to the Russians, a call from Japan going something like “hay Joe, that thing works, just got reports from Hiroshima” that was the secret IT WORKS. That’s what this is, maybe some ‘Rosenberg’ insights on how to build the core and what gages to use would help BUT the fact that it works is enough for a LOT of people to start making these.
Oh Ya, thanks again Raidy

Be patient for a few months. I have again a new atty, working with another new princip. The patent is in the application. I then look for a manufacturer. There is not anything to say. And questions will not be answered. But this need about 12 month before its available for customers. But the vapour quality and arome is the same!

Raidy - you might like to know that I have made a semi-genesis E2 mod. It vapes very well! I couldn't get the ss mesh wick through the bottom hole on the cup (I'll have another go tomorrow), so I've curved it around the side (as suggested earlier on here). More details are on the E2 thread.

Here's a drawing of my mod...

EDIT: THANKS RAIDY - FOR YOUR IDEAS AND GUIDANCE.

Sorry! first U.K. Version
may be you need no so much power in the PEN like fibers need!
(from the E2 thread - continued here)

Raidy - I just think it's getting low on juice (or the bend is lessening the capillary). I have made the wick quite small - I used 14mm wide mesh and it is rolled to about 1mm - 1.3mm. Maybe a bit too tight?

Dank Dan

I also made an atty using the stainless steel wire screen . It was a left-over from a heat pipe I made. I had problems with it as I made four units with the same housing . I used nickel-chromium wire 36 gauge for 4.ohm strange things happened the ohms dropped every time after winding the stainless . And the nickel-chromium wire burned out fairly fast . Can you tell me about why this happened ? the stainless was heated till cherry red six or seven times using e-juice each time until It was dark colored . But still dropped the ohms rating of each coil when applied to the stainless screen coil. And was the nickel-chromium not able to handle the heat transfer of the stainless why it wont last ? Did you test using nickel-chromium on your atty ?
Oh as before thanks for your openness about your wonderful atty . And I live in North Texas will throw a Texas size steak in with that beer for a visit with the master if you come near My area .A bribe couldn't hurt Huh. Oh I have a German friend who also drinks my beer dry so no problems there .
Thanks Dan

@traderdan: I use kanthal wire because it is listed in the food industry. make a liquid drop on the screen, before first use.
take a tooth picker and move the wire for 1/2mm up or down and test again. I got the same problems on the beginning, but now it work at the first choice. Practice makes perfect.

wow, a texas steak with a cold beer :2cool:

one steak, two guys, four girls, eight beers, ........ (I'm only dreaming)

Slopes you're making me envious already :) When you roll up the screen is it like paper that you can tighten the roll inside of itself?

asdaq - it's very nice stuff to roll - especially if you were an expert at roll-ups from the good old days :) It stays where you put it and can go very small with a bit of encouragement.

Here's some close-ups of my E2 Genesis (V2) in progress...

Now that's what I imagined an E2 (Raidy Type) mod should look like. Did you ream out the ceramic cup's centre tube to keep the air-stem in place or have you removed the air stem completely and having an alternative air supply. I like the idea of the stem wrapped in the mesh if it could somehow fit - purely aesthetically speaking of course. I know nothing of the mechanics of this mesh, even after reading the explanations. Like the Robinsons' Family Robot, there are just some things that 'Don't Compute'.
