I think I should stop modding, and making a U.S. travel. One vapoure meetings in every state. I bring all my modds, and you paid the bill (steak and beer)

That sounds like a plan raidy! We are pretty much in awe of your work. Free beer and steak would be easy to come by. Add Albuquerque to your tour list! Thanks so much for sharing!

I have a question. Is it better to use the courser mesh, say 325 for the thicker VG based juices, and the finer 400 mesh for the thinner PG liquids?

May be, don't know exactly. I think both works nearly the same.
On VG i prefer to put 5% water inside (mostly is already done by the seller).

The pocket oven PV without battery

It's a joke, but a real working joke. The pocket-oven PV.
It gives a good vapour and makes warm hands:laugh:
pcketovenqdt570wki.jpg

This pv is working with a hot carbon rod from a pocket heater. A carbon rod is sufficient for about 4 hours warm hands and vapour.
pcketoven22hiak9jzn.jpg

Here you see: The depot screen which hold the liquid which contacts a 0.05mm s.s-film. If you push the carbon rod to the front, heats the stainless steel film and the vapour begins.
If you do not want to evaporate, then move it back into the cotton bag and warm your hands.

Thats again a very good trick: Use s.s. screen instead of cotton in your liquid depot!!
I will show this in part 2

The next winter can come.

Progress report:
I finished turning and drilling the top cap yesterday. I got the fill tube in and the lower negative side screw (that the kanthal will wrap around) in place. now I need to get the upper positive stand off in place. (then I'll post a pic).
Still no mesh or lexan tube here yet. I should be ready to test fit the caps to the lexan by the time it gets here. Then after fitting it, a polishing will then have it all ready for final assembly. and then STRESS TESTING the assy......

Edit:
The lexan tube just came in. only the bottom cap needs re-sizeing. (I'll need to take it down by a blond hair)

Anybody have any luck finding kanthal in the usa, other than ebay? I don't have paypal, and I'd rather not get it now...

My master plan is to make a desktop water pipe.. probably hardwire it for power. Thinking about interchangeable tanks for changing out flavors...

This is Acrylia, one of my water pipes.
acrylia01x2lb5489d.jpg

Whats the "?". Its my newest atty which is waiting for the patent.
ac02hcr7oadlg.jpg

With fast switchable water tank and fast refill of liquid tank.

Another mini-shihsa with a standard PEN atty.

and a few more water pipes follows later.

I finished my full Genesis E2 mod this morning and it is vaping like a champ. It makes a nice crackling sound too - like the ones on Raidy's videos. It has a very clean flavour (almost too clean for my liking).

One potential problem with the E2 is that the mesh wick has to be quite short on order to fit back into the existing tubing. Mine ended up at about 15mm exposed below the ceramic cup. It doesn't seem to affect the amount of vapour though. Another thing to be aware of is the potential for the wick to form a connection between the + and - wires where they are soldered onto the battery connector. I placed one of the silicone rings from the mouthpiece around the bottom of the (cut back) airtube (onto the base of which one of the wires is soldered), this stops the bottom of ss wick from coming into contact with both + and - connections.

Add North Carolina to your list 'raidy'! Beer, steak, women, music are here!

Congrats on the CE2 genisis 'slopes'. I'd like to make one even though I plan to make a separate genisis too. Can you PM me some drawings of your latest?

Here's 'raidy's Youtube channel.

I hope you're taking pictures as you go. It would be cool to see pics of it taking shape and coming together.

Yes, and I am posting the pics here as they come along. The 1st of anything you build is only good for showing you how not to do the next time. I am waiting for some glue to dry today and I hope the mesh will be in tomorrow. then I will have everything to finish it up with.

Anyone else have theirs in process yet? Surely I am not the only one actually building one am I?

Ya that’s where you want to go, NY, your great grandparent’s got out of NY as soon as they could to get away from those English puritans fighting with the Dutch, no Germans stopped moving West before Pennsylvania, most came all the way to Texas and learned Spanish, come to Houston and BR and I will show you.

Excellent. Yeah, I saw you posted a pic of the end cap you made. Nice. And yeah, I plan to give it a try, too, but I don't have the materials yet. Most of what I need is on the way, though. Thanks and good luck.

Infinitely touch PV

Only touch with one finder and get your vapour!
Put your finger between the middle contact and one of the outer contacts.
1=vapour in stored strengh , 2=1 step stronger, 2= one step softer (20 steps are possible)
nh024ag7os35r.jpg

Inside a attiny25 mp with own programm. The mp stores the last vapour level. The regulation is made by puls-wide signal handling. There is also a automatic voltage regulation. if the battery gets lower voltage, the mp makes longer pulses.

nh01xqf74m03r.jpg

at the moment there's a green genisis pluged.

You can put this box direct into the battery loader station.

Please do not aks for cicuit diagramm and programm code, this ist part 2.
