Nice threads too. One thing with raidy's, if you halfway blocked the airhole with your finger, it tightened up the draw giving somewhat less TH and more vapor- this was noted from other vapers who were testing his genises.
yeah, made from stainless. drilled three holes to give adjustable airflow, just use your finger to block off 1 or 2 holes. my first effort at a genesis, so i'm still learning!!
I gotta quit reading this thread 45 pages at a time :0 Very nice work here, I'll say it again. I'll be ordering some mesh from ebay (NICE find!) asap.
Quick question.-My mother owns a kiln and many ceramic supplies. Safe right? for endcaps on the tank...
Well I guess it looks nice, but how does it vape? An actual, you vaping it, pic would have told more of the story. It also seems to vary quite a bit from Raidy's. More mesh exposed, more than his 3 wraps of wire. Was there a reason you went that route? How did that affect your performance?
A few details and some real assessments as to it's performance would help others in their quest.
like i said, it's my very first effort. it vapes ok for the first 3 seconds then starts to overheat. using a 5v puck to test with and 0.2 kanthal, so there's too much power going through it, hence the extra wraps to increase resistance. got some 0.16 kanthal on order so we'll see if that helps. will probably have to drop the voltage too. don't really want to as i like the puck, it lasts for ages! just wanted to make one first off to see if i could get the principles to work, so now at least i have something to work with!
