Wow, gotta say, I've been a member here at ecf for about a year and haven't looked at this thread until 2 days ago. What a roller coaster! Great work though Raidy. You've inspired a lot of us.. Damn, I hate owning a lathe and a mill, now I feel like I have no excuses but to put myself to work!

Great looking mods raidy! I have seen some mods that people are just soooo proud of but look like something found in an alley garbage bin. Your mods look professionally made and great quality workmanship. I don't have time right now to read the 200+ pages of responses, but do you have any plans on selling custom mods? I think you could do well if they work as well as they look.

Whoa, there, gaijin; "sumimasen"...
Raidy's work is amazing, no doubt about it.
Very professionally made and as his videos show, they are excellent performers.
Miniature fog machines, from what I've seen.
We are no doubt blessed with many exceptional modders here on ECF, but don't put down the rest of us if we're
not up to your "quality standards".
When a modder puts something together, and it works, the feeling of accomplishment is great. More so for a beginner.
I believe they have a right to be proud of what they've created, and by sharing it with the rest of us, automatically earns them much respect in my book. No matter what it might look like to the next guy.

So be nice. That "alley garbage bin mod" may be one of that modder's proud possessions! ;)

Oh, and nothing is for sale in the modding section of the forum. Find the classifieds or the Buying & Selling subforums!

Just to be clear, I never said there was anything wrong with a "garbage bin mod" I simply used the term as a expedient description of their looks. My favorite hoodie looks like I fished it out of the garbage bin, does that make it less of a comfortable hoodie? not at all. The computer mod I am using at the moment looks like something hobbled together at the scrap yard but is still a fast lil bitty. My favorite ecig mod looks like its been through WWII but its still my fav. My full statement was "that people are just soooo proud of but look like something found in an alley garbage bin" IE my hoodie, my puter mod, my ecig mod etc all fit within that same heading of things that people are sooo proud of but look like they were fished out of the garbage bin. If you have a problem with that, sorry.

I appreciate your sentiments, and I agree modders should be proud of anything they make that works. But let's not get over sensitive about it... if it looks like its a garbage bin mod, it looks like a garbage bin mod. If its exceptional, its exceptional. I can't please everyone so no sense in walking on egg shells.

PS - I know nothing is for sale in the modding section and I know where the classifieds are, but I wasn't asking to buy one, I was asking him if he had plans to one day make a business out of it... is that not a valid question considering is mods are truly exceptional?

PSS your "sumimasen" makes no sense it this situation, its used in situations when you step on someones toe or are in their way etc... not when you dislike what they said. Just FYI.

Hey gaijin .. I second (or third) that this is no place to insult other modders' work. As the builder of many mods, I find your comment entirely insulting.

Perhaps in Japan it's ok making such comments of others' work, but I feel comments like that would be better kept to yourself.
