all things sticky

hi toni, please keep an open mind on combining those threads in one sticky. it did not work for jules and i don't think it will work now.
the problem being that all those threads inside the sticky open in a new window creating nothing but clutter, very bad for navigation!
if you look back where jules had the sticky "important links" nobody went there. i, and i believe most of us, like to be able to stay on the main page
just my thoughts

I hear you, tib! We are giving it a try. All those links are also in the forum already, so it's basically just an easy way to find them if they get buried. Trying to cut down on the stickies so we can see the posts in the forum! If it doesn't work, we will change it back!

ok, that should work. you are leaving the links in the forum, not deleting them, but in case one of these threads ends up on the second page it'll be easy to locate. did i get that right?

Absolutely! it's just like a bookmark page I guess you could say!

Edit.....Can you explain to me how our needs and want threads show up on the main forum from here?So new members can follow them to our forum if they need help?Do they show everytime we post in them?Im not getting it.

well, as toni said, if something disappears we'll have the sticky for those threads. it's just the problem with the extra windows, so............
i'll bump if i have to and make sure our main threads will get going again
