I'll be the first one to say that vivis can be finicky, but other than the occasional dry hit (solved quickly by a little tilt) imho, i think they're great, why all the hate?

Dunno Desmond - mine have been terrific for me. They aren't for everyone, but a lot of people like them.

So many knockoffs have been produced, that half the time I assume those complaining didn't buy a genuine Vivi. Also, out of the many thousands produced, there's bound to be a few duds in the mix. Out of the 10 or so that I've purchased, only 2 had leak issues; both were stardust variants.

I've never used them with silica, so I don't have an opinion on their performance.

Replace "Vivi" in that post with any other piece of equipment, and you'll get the same thing.

People are opinionated.

Exactly... People are very passionate when it comes to our hobby. Well that comes with a lot of hobbies to be honest. Go over to the fishing forum and they'll be debating why one lure is better than the other. Or perhaps go over to the Victoria's secret forum and some women will be debating over some panties. At the end of the day when you're watching your stories and vaping away on your nova or carto tank or genisis what have you whatever makes you happy is what is most important.

Is there any tank on the planet that never leaks?

Probably not. Although it was months before I experienced any leak with a vivi nova - and that was with one of the metal tanks not fitting the threads right, from what I could tell. I have one that I think I need to replace the bottom part on now. Other than that no issues, and they are the only clearo tank I've felt confident taking with me to work knowing I won't be cleaning up leaked juice. Mine are Vision, and I clean and dry burn every couple of tanks.

I think maybe a lot of people jumped the gun and bought something they thought/heard/"knew" was mind-blowing. And when it turned out it wasn't, they were a little irked. That explains my story, at least.

Not sure that its as many people as you make out. I've seen some comments from people who don't like them, and lots of comments from you. A lot of people do like the vivi novas though.

And sometimes based on the purse that just got soaked by e-juice from a Vision Leaky Nova.

Read those "Hate Threads" ... the posters make that rather clear why.

My first vivi Nova worked fine. The next 2 I purchased, both genuine Vision vivi novas and from the same supplier I bought the first one were both a piece of junk. Also, I had a bunch of bad replacement atty's. Like everything else, quality control varies.

Aside from that, for the juices I vape, the vivi's, stardusts and other clearo's like them, mute the flavors.

I've lost count of the number of people I've helped who had problems with knock offs. Most vivi issues come from bad knock offs. Which accounts for a lot of those posts. Some people have had issues with the genuine vivi novas, just like some people have had issues with cartomizer tanks. Cartomizer tanks flooding, leaking, hole to small, hole too big, not enough holes, too many holes, cartomizer too slippy, burnt filler taste... There are still a lot of people happily using carto tanks, and a lot of people happily using vivi novas.
