Ive had few problem s with the nova mini. This vivi nova (authentic) is on my last nerve though!! Dry hit after dry hit. Im on my second coill head as I fried the first. The new one however, is good for about one good draw before it goes dry. This is even after tilting my pv before each pull. Im using a 2.4 coil being pushed by 4.2v. Real frustrating because the occasional good draw I get is excellent. Im about ready to can this thing and stick to my t3's and evod's. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

BTW...I did prime the coil before filling the tank. I then let it sit for ten mins.

I let it sit longer than that, more like 15 mins. However, I have had pretty good luck with cutting teeny 1/8" slots in the two places where the little tiny cap touches the wick, so that the wick is less squished. Trouble is, if I make them too big, I get some leakage, too small (or none) and I get dry hits. (Of course you are rolling it sideways between hits like any top-coil clearo, right?)

I also get better hits when I add about 5-10% old juice to the new juice when I fill -- THAT is counter-intuitive as heck, but it works for some weird reason.

It takes awhile for a wick to soak up the liquid. I always roll my tank around a LITTLE to get the wick soaked near the coil.
I do this every couple of hits.

Hope you figure it out man, they can be a really great tank.
thanks senator. Yeah, I agree. Its great when it works...but damn! I like to pick up my Vamo and take a pull at any given time, without having to go through a process to achieve it. Ya know??

I use fingernail scissors or some other tiny sharp scissors. The notch is either an upside-down V that's 1/8" at the bottom and about 1/8" tall (or less...it's just...teeny) or sometimes it's more a little 1/8" square taken out.

The rolling is never ever optional with a top-coil clearo, and I admit is is MUCH easier with a cigalike or ego-style fatt batt than it is with my lava tube, but it gets to be reflex after awhile. I need to find a way to add some texture to my lavatube so it's not so slippery. I LOVE the rubbery coating on fatt batts, it makes rolling so easy.

This ^ but I usually fill, roll around for 15 sec or so, and start vaping ...
