They pulled me out of line. Opened my suitcase. Didn't find my GG. Scanned my bag again. Saw the GG and went through my bag until they found it and 4 18350 batts. Explained what it was and how it worked for about 15 minutes. Then they sent the GG through on it's own, handed it to me and congratulated me on quitting smoking. Thought I was going to miss my flight if i didn't let them confiscate it. OMG. Never again Is it leaving the house.

Shoot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is what I am afraid of, one of the myriad of reasons I used to hate flying because the smoking was such an incredible hassle, especially since I was a chainer. I dumped all my other mods -- if I fly do I have to take a (gulp!) eGo or something?!?!?!?8-o8-o8-o Jeez, if I don't get the hair cut carrying that will cause a body cavity search!!!

I have heard from others that its best to transport broken down -- but I haven't been GG-less since January.:thumb:

I have had to explain a few times. Once with a Pro-Vari and once with a GG. Both times I had them setup with batts and ready to use. I find it is hassle free if I put my batts in a plastic cigar tube, my GGTS broken down in a case, and have my EGOs in ready. Liquids I put in a plastic bag as per TSA directions.

if there is next time, you might want to take GG out from suitcase and put in tray as visible as possible at security.
I just went to Japan from USA and came back last month. I did not have GG that time yet but screwdriver. I put screwdriver and e-liquid in zip bag plus batteries into tray with watch and cell phone at gate. I didn't have any problem either way. they didn't even ask question.

I was pulled out of line twice when I flew last month. Luckily I had both GG's, Iatty and UFS separated with pics and info from the COV site. All batts were in a separate ziplock - attys and juice also had their own separate bags. Made life much easier w/the info & pics in black and white from COV.

Wow, good idea - never thought of that but I already carry around ECF cards and some from about 3 dozen vendors in the truck.........:)
