i have 3 cigarettes left in my last pack. i dont want to buy anymore cigarettes. since i got my 510 i have significantly reduced my tobacco usage. i have gone from 1-1/2 packs a day down to around 4-5 cigarettes a day. thats a significant reduction. i no longer take ANY cigarettes or lighter to work anymore. i take my 510, a 10 ml bottle of e juice, and my usb passthrough(has a large battery on it). i find my battery lasts through my 1st break and my lunch but will not last me my last break. i find myself adding a couple drops to the cart before the end of the work day. i vape at least as much as i smoked, but im not filling my body up with dirty cigarette smoke, so that must be a good thing

wonder if i can survive completely eliminating cigarettes from my daily life. i have reduced use so far but not fully quit

For the next three days, use 1 for your end of the day smoke. When the time comes around to actually smoke, ask yourself if you really need to smoke.
Heck, maybe you'll have those 3 around long enough for them to get so stale they won't be tempting.

Consider me your recycling center for Njoy Pro, Smoking Everywhere Gold, Cloud 9, Smoke 51 Trio, and DSE103 useless batteries.
Other hardware if it’s still usable.
Those I loan out to/give to thank you.

i think my health is already started to improve a little just reducing my usage. completely stopping my usage, i could see would really help my health. the hardest time im going to have is converting my wife. she has been using an ecig a little but she still smokes regurally. i told her i will NOT go to the reservation anymore and im not going to help her get cigarettes anymore. i hope she will make the decession to quit as well. if there are cigarettes in the house the temptation is there for me to smoke. i want the damn things gone.

she's going to be stubborn, i do care about her health and more than anything i want her to quit. i dont want to bury her in 15-20 years. she has also been smoking since she was 12 years old.

I was one of those "instant" quitters, but my husband has taken a little longer to fully commit. Cigarettes taste like crap to him, but you know how it goes, sometimes you just have to see for yourself if they "really" taste bad. (Nasty addiction is nasty.)

The change in the last few days has been dramatic - he's been vaping a wintergreen from freedomsmokusa that has come into its own after sitting for about a week instead of the "replacement cigarette flavor" he had been using. I don't know for sure, but I think he was being stubborn, but finding a vape that tastes great rather than just serves as a replacement knocked that stubbornness out. It's hard to go back to smoking when vaping just tastes so much better.

If you haven't found a flavor you love - maybe a non-tobacco flavor - make it a priority. I'd go to either vaporstation.com or freedomsmokeusa and get some samples of wildly different flavors - especially ones you wouldn't think you'd like to inhale. You may be pleasantly surprised that finding THE odd fruit or candy or whatever flavor was just what it took to put the smokes away for good.

Tread carefully with your wife - man, there's nothing worse than being chastised for your smoking. It brings out the mule in me, anyway!

Again, I say get a ton of samples - it may just be a matter of finding something she likes better than cigarettes. (I HIGHLY recommend trying a bottle of Hypnotic Mist from freedomsmokeusa in their pre-mixed tobacco section. It doesn't taste like tobacco, but at a high enough nicotine rate - 30 or even 36 - it has a killer TH and just sort of seems to feel like an analog to me.)

I started vaping almost 2 months ago, and stopped smoking cigarettes on July 1, when I still had almost a carton of Marlboro Lights remaining. About 2 weeks ago, having lost my desire for analogs, I gave all my cigarettes to some homeless guy panhandling at a traffic light. Boy, was he happy!

I suggest you not say anything more to your wife. Just focus on you and your quitting. When she sees you have stopped, she will probably come around on her own. I had some co-workers who were skeptical and said, "let me see if you are still not smoking in a month, then maybe I will quit." After a month, they asked me to order kits for them and help them get started. People are more into it seeing results than hearing how they should do it.

You just need to get a few days under your belt and you'll be fine. After a few days you won't be able to handle the taste of them anymore. As far as your wife, good advise has already been spoken. But until you go without them you don't get the fully nasty taste that they really have.
