Alpha UltraMax : the good and the bad

I interest me to the Apex Alpha UltraMax with RES, but before to buy one ( it is not a little price) I want to saw your opinion of this mod.
What you find good or like with the ultramax and the bad or what you dislike.

What that i have note is the tarnishing and require a regular cleaning ; the switch that can be turn hard or don't slide correctly for some.
The RES with the ceramic is very helpful for the dry I think and can permit a good session of vape without ad drops.
I love the design of The Alpha Ultramax and the slide switch but that is personnal i admit it.

And yet what is you feel ?...

I bought two UltraMax starter kits and I'm sorry to say that neither of them lasted more than 11 months. The ceramic disk in the RES broke no less then three times and the finish had worn completely off one of them. It did work okay for a while, but for what you pay vs. what you get, you can do MUCH BETTER.

Please put your interest in a different kind of mod. Since you're interested in Apex, VV is not your game. That will give you plenty other mods to choose from. Let me list my +/- with the Apex mods:

Pluses: none
Minuses:

-weak battery life
-this thing is highly polished After few hours of use it gets dark brown and you constantly have to repolish it. Huge supply of cape cod polishing kit would be a must
-the button. Extremely slippery (technically its not a button, more like a tube slider) specially after polishing. Also you would have to keep your hands clean and dry at all times. Even tiny bit of oil will prevent you from sliding that darn tube. This drove me nuts
-price for the value
-RES itself. Ceramic wick tube is extremely fragile and easy to damage
