I'm looking for a good alternative to aga-t, it's a great atty but it's pretty difficult at times to deal with all the hot spots. Iv been using it for 10 months so not about being new to the rba game. I want something easier to set up. I want a tank rba in which I can make decent vapor. Currently with 6 wraps on my aga-t2 I'm at .4 ohms that 28 guage kanthal I get awsome coil but after a day of vaping it starts to develop hot spots on either legs (the coil moves cause of the heat?)....

Thanks in advanced for any suggestions

I have both the Terminator C (Oddysseus clone) and the Hercules (Ithaka clone) that are both made by Rainbow Heaven. They are top notch atomizers, particularly for being made to use silica wicks and being clones. From what I have read, the Rainbow Heaven clones are almost exact copies of the originals made by GG. The parts from Rainbow Heaven and the ones from GG are interchangeable. I have not used any of the originals, but I imagine they are probably a bit better in terms of quality and craftsmanship.

Anyhow, as far as rebuilding them, it was not difficult once I began using the ready wire some vendors are carrying. It is a piece of Kanthal that already has NR leads on both sides. The Ithaka and the Odysseus require the use of non-resistance wire because the positive and negative posts are so far away from the actual coil. This makes for a setup that is slightly more involved, but allows for a much better vape. These attys are not much more difficult than a dripper to set up and mine don't leak once they are set up.

The big difference between the two is the Ithaka is set up to make dual coil builds much easier. There are videos that show how to join NR wire to resistance wire out there. It is not real difficult after a few tries. I had no problem with the joining of NR and Kanthal; it was more of an issue of joining the two wires and making it small enough that it would fit inside the grooves along the sides of the ceramic. This is precisely why I would recommend using ready wire, as opposed to doing it yourself.

The taste is amazing and the vapor production is stellar. Setting either the Oddysseus or Ithaka (or their clones) is much better than trying to set up an AGA-T with SS Mesh. Another good atty to look up is the Russian 91%, which is a clone of the Kayfun Lite. It is another clone that is almost exactly like the original. It is an easier setup than a genesis and does not require the use of NR wire.

Personally, I feel that the vape from either the GG/clone atomizers and the Russian91%/Kayfun Lite is about the same. Each of them have their own quirks and differences, but at the end of the day, I love them both and could not pick a favorite.

Thanks Nelson and mike I am leaning towards the cheaper Fogger, I believe it's like a katfun knock off if I was willing to spen a more dough I would deffenitely get the kayfun lite or even Russian 91% but for 30 bucks the Fogger seem like an alright risk. Anyone try the fogger? Also I came to the conclusion that I don't want to mess with the no-resitance wire headache. So that's why I'm leaning to the kayfun style attys. anyone for any suggestions on kayfun clones or simar attys. I know the Russian is the best clone but looking for something cheaper.

if you do decide on the fogger i would suggest version 2, it has a glass tank and airflow control.

I have a fogger v2 on order. Thus far, it seems to be getting good reviews, but I have no personal experience with it.

The Fogger is a clone of the Taifun, which is a different thing than the Kayfun. Hah I know the lingo is kinda confusing. I don't know very much about the Taifun GT or the Fogger, but am excited to learn to build my Fogger.

Anyways, hope you enjoy your Fogger and I am hoping it is worth all the hype.

I know the feeling of not wanting to invest so much in attys, particularly when you are new and not wanting to risk much. If you check out some co-ops, it is possible to pick up a Russian 91% for around $50-$60.

I ordered my Fogger v2 from Congrevape Crowdfunding | Home

I am unsure exactly the differences between the Fogger v1 and v2. Where did you order yours from? If the vendor doesn't specifically state that it is v2, it's probably the v1. As soon as the Fogger started making the rounds, the v2 came out.

Haven't orders yet luckily u told me about the V2
