i just picked up an aga-t2 iv already rebuilt it serveral times. Im using 30g kanthal with about 4 wraps. i get a nice even glow when the tank isnt juiced but when i juice the tank the top two legs always get hot first. iv torched my ss mesh over and over and rewraped several times all with the same results. iv even tried to adjust the legs with no results. also the vapor production is very poor at 1.5 ohms compaired to a pro tank 2 with cotton. any advice would be great!

When you have only part of the coil getting hot. The short will be in the wrap that is next below the glowing ones. When the coil is wet the juice adds a bit of resistance. That forces the current to follow the line of least resistance, through the mesh.
after many attempts I figured it out. I started with 32g kanthal and successfully built my first coil. Than made another with my 30g kanthal. My problem was I was strangling my SS mesh with kanthal lol rewraped a little lighter and everything was a go great flavor great vapor production ect ect.
