I hear all kinds of great reviews about Altsmoke, and they are only a couple hours from my house so I imagine great shipping times. I have seen a lot of Ikenvape users lately too, and I have heard great things about various vendors carrying Boge cartos. Can anyone tell me an actually difference? Or why you prefer one to the others?

PLEASE!
1.No bashing a product you have never personally used (and I mean more than once)
2.I am looking for differences if there are any, or reasons you prefer a specific carto, not "1 sucks and 2 is awesome!"
3.Recommendations on other vendors is welcome, as are other cartomiser options ( I have ce2s and map tanks that I love, Im not asking about those)

i personally havent tried altsmoke but i hear great things. from my experince ikenvape has some of the best cartos atties and prices around. im currently vaping on a mega 510 which has be megaed internally so its not super huge. thing works like a dream and just puts out flavors handles high volts really well. vaped it dry and didnt burn the filler and i get nothing but pure taste. the guy at ikenvape works with the manufactures to design them to his spec and i think they rock but thats my 2 cents
Welcome to IkenVape

I just got my first order of Yeti cartomizers from AltSmoke today; the markings on the sides of the boxes are exactly the same as the Boge boxes, so I assume they are a rebrand. Not that there is anything wrong with that - the Boge LR's are my personal favorite 510 carto, so far.

I'm anxious to try the IkenVape cartos one of these days.

Atari if you are asking what the difference is in Boge cartos from different vendors, some send specific specs to have them manufactured to. Iken (for example) uses a tighter inner filler and a different wire than a stock Boge.

I haven't used Altsmoke. I buy my Boges from Clouds of Vapor, I personally like them better than Ikenvape's...but that's just me.

Atari....The PV you will be receiving shortly can be sensitive too resistance...It will work very well in the 3.0 + range...I found the best results with that PV while using Boge Cartos...They are excellent cartos for sure...I've been dripping a Genuine Joye 510 atty on the Buzz for a little over three weeks..It's tough and still hammering it...AltSmoke I dealt with in my Bullet days...My only experience was with LR atties and that was not so pleasant...Maybe things have changed, maybe not...IkenVape...well IMO they're the best possible...I've got the Mega 808s, Fusion 801s and Drip-Tip 510s....The DT510 I ordered for the PV you are expecting...May work...it did for some but not for me...Resistance was a bit too low...I imagine it holds too Iken's standards but so far I haven't Buzzed on one...The Megas and Fusions are superb..I've used Iken's HV 901s and HV 510s..both are excellent...Just got in the HV 306s and some drip tips...I had one previously that I lost and never have I seen vapor and flavor like the 306...The 306 has a 510 connection.. Iken has his products made too his spec...The 306 was wound in the US.. His HV{high voltage} stuff is wound tighter with bigger wire so it'll last longer...They ohm @3.5 ..HV atties go great on variable voltage mods..I usually push them at 4.8...When using gear ohming @3.0 I stick @ 4.2-4.5 volts..Hope that helps.........

This all helps a LOT, especially with my first VV on the way. I got a new map tank in yesterday and so far Im loving it, I have talked to a few people about using it on the infinity and have heard good results so far, but I dont plan on ordering 10 of them and I like to switch flavors a lot so having a few cartos around seems to be the best option.

@EL Dee, thanks for the HV heads up, and now to hijack my own thread..... I defiantly want to try out the full range on the infinity to get an idea of what I like. Im the type I will tinker till its damn near perfect, or until I realize just how close I can get. I like the few LRs I have but the brain my batts a lot quicker not not that much better vapor. Ive been told on 2.4ohm not to vape over 4.2 or 4.3 and that 3.7 seems to be just right, but what about 2.8, and how low 3.2, 3.5 (i dont know if this is a stupid question but can you go too low on a HV atty?) and what ohm would you need to get to 5.5, or is that even worth doing?

Atari, with your Infinity you don't have to worry about figuring what resistance on your atty / carto equals the voltage you want. VV devices are built with a regulator that delivers the voltage you set no matter what ohm you put on it. The lower the ohm, the harder your regulator works and the more the batteries are stressed. That's why you'll see advice suggesting that you stay with around 2.8 to 3.x on your atties / cartos for your particular device.

Cant wait for Ikenvape to come back up, Ive been hearing too many good things. I hate dripping, but Ive been hearing good things about their attys too, so I may pick one or two up but I really have to try their cartos. I havent heard any one mention bloog max fusions yet. I hear they are pretty good too

I think the Yetis I got from Altsmoke are about the same as other Boge cartos I've used. Although Boge makes a good carto, I'm a pretty devoted Ikenvape customer (801 Fusions and 510 Gold V2s). The differences that I've noticed are a cleaner taste with the IKV cartos and the fact that I've burned Boge cartos before but have yet to burn a Fusion or V2. I think it's because the IKV ones have a more dense coil tube and a looser filler. It isolates the coil from the filler better.

I'm a pretty devout IKV customer these days, too. I've been using the 801 and 801 mini LR atties and LR Mega 801 and 510 cartos. I have to say that these are the most durable, consistent atties and cartos that I've ever used. The cartos are super easy to fill, last for hours and the taste is phenomenal from start to finish. I've rinsed mine out, let them dry out for a couple of days and they still taste fresh! I have yet to get a burnt taste from any of them!
