My friend Baditude informed me that the wick material in the Ikans are slightly more dense than the Boge, so the Ikans are not as good a choice for thick juices.

I don't recall ever saying that. I have said that Boges have a more dense filler than Smoktech.

Honestly many of us (including myself) thought the same thing. I had to listen carefully to some of his earlier videos to get it right. He thinks it's very funny and kinda gets a kick out of it lmao. No worries.

Ok- I'll try to be more specific. I vape high VG juices and the Ikenvapes have lasted me on average 3 times longer then the smoketech or boge carts. That alone is enough for me- but there's more. They seem to have a more consistent vapor production although vapor and throat hit are more a characteristic of the ejuice than the cargo. Still, side-by-side with the same juice the vapor production is superior. The platinums have a larger punch. I love this as my high VG juices feed better into these carts. Is that better H. Hoges? LOL

Ikenvape cartos are the worst ever made - and taste like burning gym socks... especially the 2.0Ω 510 Platinum 2X3mm. Everyone - please buy other brands of cartos. Thanks.

There - now I can have IKVs all to myself... until of course Isaac goes out of business because I can't buy enough to keep him in business. Crap... damn.

Ikenvape cartos are the bestest, most flavorful, longest lasting cartos you can buy. But... you people that think the vapocalypse is right around the corner... chill out and just buy what Isaac & Valerie need to do well and keep the business up and running smoothly... and leave me a few Platinums please. Well I haven't had much time using mine, but I already have one problem. Only my refilling tip fits on them. ALL my regular drip tips won't even come close to fitting. I find it really annoying. I'll go get something that fits on Monday and see how I like them.

Thought it was just me. I found the fill tool from IBTanked works, but Cherry Vapes drip tips do not.

I've been waiting with bated breath and white knuckles for Ikenvape to come back online, and just ordered 25 Mega Fusion LR 2.0s to try. I have heard nothing but good things about Isaac and his products. Vapemail on Monday. WHOO- HOO!
I hope the drip tip thing is not an issue for me.
On the subject of punches, I tried a standard carto punch, and it distorted the tube so badly, it wouldn't fit. I've since gotten a Wagner Quick-Tap QT-1, from Amazon. Busardo reviewed it a while back, and it works perfectly. Pretty cheap, too!

After learning how to prime them properly, I've found Smoktech cartos to be just fine. In fact, I prefer them to Ikenvape and Boge's. The polyfill on their's seems to be wrapped more tightly. With Smoktech cartos, I have almost zero issues with wicking thicker juices. Their polyfill seems to be "looser", which works great for me and my juice selections.
