Opinions, please.

Initially I wanted the Roughstack v2, but they're out of stock and after reading some comments that they've been out for quite a while...I don't find much patience (especially since I've waited months to save up the money to buy two of 'em).

So...started "shopping" around and came across the Silver Bullet. I love the construction/design a lot more than the Roughstack.

So, what are your opinions? Have you used it? Do you like it? Is there something you would recommend over it? And lastly...is it worth spending $85 on one? (and I need to buy two) so it's a pretty steep investment.

I've had my Silver Bullet for almost 2 years now and I can't find one thing to complain about. Unless you're put off by the size.

The Silver Bullet is basically the mod that most other mods aspire to be. It's built like a tank (you could probably run it over with one) and simply works everytime. It's a much more solid design than the roughstack and it looks better as well IMO.

I have purchased and sold a lot of mods in the last 2 years but the Silver Bullet will always remain. It has been, without a doubt, the most consistant mod I have owned to date.

There is a reason the Silver Bullet hasn't changed (other than new colors) and is still in high demand.

As far as a 3.7/6v device, I can't think of any I'd recommend over the Silver Bullet.

The roughstack is a deal for the money but they haven't been the most reliable due to the design of the switch assembly.

i have both. like dudeman said, the bullet is a workhorse. other than the size, i can't post anything negative about it. a few months ago, i lost it. the very next day, i purchased another one. 3.7v, stacked for 6v, or the 4.8v batt makes it very versatile.

that said, i truly enjoy the roughstack. the small size and top switch feel just right. the biggest negative is that i can't use any of my tanks on it, due to the top switch. it is my primary 'carry around dripping' device. you can find them occasionally in the classifieds.
