I see. Well, I guess I shall just have to wait until they get some in stock.

I've not used an eGo before and am waiting for one in the mail. Is the cone an indispensable part of the array?
Hi,
I am going to chime in here for a minute on the eGo.
The eGo's cone is used in a way (as it was designed to) to allow the user to adjust for air flow and to get a warmer, richer flavor from their liquids.
The cone will also allow the atty (510 in this case) to get warmer or hotter (depending on reg or LR atty) and burn richer (like in a carborater. Less air, the richer the vape. More air the less richer the vape..
No, you cannot use an 801 on these unless you modify the cone (which has been done) to allow it to slip over the 801 atty.
You can use a 901 atty as is and carto's. Just need an adaptor..
The cone is simply for the look of the unit. It's not necessary
This depends on how you want to use it. By design, it is necessary to use the cone as it was intended to be used. Again, look above for the way it is to be used. The cone can be turned slightly off (loose) and get more air into the atty. When the cone is on tight, it will make the atty hotter, hence work harder and less time for a drag (unless ur like me, take a long drag either with the cone on or off.) Yes it is for looks too, but not what the design of it was intened for.
I hope I have helpped for everyone to understand the cone and NOT step on anyones feet.
