Thanks for the reviews, I guess I'll give them a go. I've had one from Nhaler and loved it but around the end of week 2 the cylinder came off. I then ordered 3 from TW and I dislike all 3. I only drip 2 drops at a time. The first couple of vapes TW's are too week. Then I only get 2 good vapes and it's over. Time to drip again. Plus the draw is very heavy. Hopefully the altsmokes experience will be as good as Nhalers. If so I can finally end my search for a good LV atty.

FandZ just a little advice cause you said you only drip 2 drops each time. it is very important to keep the wick wet on these LR attys. remember they get very hot quick. the more you keep it wet the longer it may last. what i do is when i am starting to vape i always put 1 drop of plain VG on the wick. wait for it to settle in then i add 4 drops. take 2 hits then another 4 drops. now i am good for 7 to 8 solid hard hits then i drip again.
if your only using 2 drops then i wouldnt take more than 2 hits before you add another 2. just some friendly advice. do whatever floats your boat. happy vaping

I received my LR 510s yesterday evening. First, I 'super-primed' one by standing it on end and dripping about 6 drops of thinned VG; let it set for a few minutes, then blew through it lightly to remove excess liquid.

Put it on my eGo with a cart full of DIY Marlboro. Four or five puffs and it was in production. Nice! Smooth and tasty, lots of vapor from a slow 3-4 second drag. The draw is a bit tighter than average but acceptable.

I had previously tried a 1.5Ω 510 from Nhaler. The vapor production was impressive but it soon developed a burnt taste. I tried to burn it off, being very cautious to give it just a 1-second glow then cool it down, but it expired after about 7 button pushes.

So far this AltSmoke LR 1.8Ω seems to be the best 510 I have ever used. :)

Alt + 234 = Ω = Ohm (unit of electrical resistance)

I have some LR510 I am using at 3.7, and I most say they are worth it. Once my new toy comes in (DBSB) I want to run two LR901's but it seems everyone is only using the 510 version.
I would not recommend LR atties on the DBSB, they are wired in parallel and that would cut the resistance in half. That would leave .75ohms between the two of them. It is best to use two normal 901 atties, this would give you aprox 1.5ohms. At best it would continue to trip the protection circut on the battery and you would not be able to vape it.

This is unfortunate news... I was LOVING the LR510 on the DBSB, and I only have the LR510 a few 801's (no adapters though). I have a few extra carto's I will try out to see whats up until I can get some 901s ordered

You were already using the LR atties on the Double Barrel? I thought I read in the post you did not have it yet. If you have it and are running it, keep in mind what you are asking of the batts :)

It came in the mail today, but I am at the restaurant til 8-9PM. They were working fine, but I would rather not mess up the unit on its first day

Edit: I found some older cartos in my car that I refill and have hooked up to which are not so bad, but I am not a big fan of the cartos to be honest. What is the worst that can happen if I run the LR on it? Batteries blow up, unit breaks, or just blows the atomizers?

somewhere out there......
Just got my LR 510 atties from you guys and man these are some really good atties. No leakage yet and they kick out some really good vapor. Plus the flavor is great way better than the 1.5 ohm. Its just right....... if these last longer than a week I would have hit the jackpot. So far so good.... report back in a week. :)

Will someone please tell me if I can use the 801s on an eGo if I use an adapter that these folks also sell? I'd like the 510s but they are currently out of stock. I left a msg on the site email form last evening, but have had no response from the company. Thanks!

yes they work fine but no cone will go over it.
