So im jumping the bandwagon to get my first Mechanical PV. Because i seem to fancy dripping a little more right now. And on my eVic we can't read lower than 1.0 ohms when i coil my own wicks.
I seem to have fallen in love with Altsmoke's Omega! And the fact it comes in PINK! xD  BUT i have doubts whether or not it truly is a full mechanical PV?

At first i wanted to buy the SilverBullet, but instead I bought the Smoktech Anodized Bolt ~ and i was told it was a mechanical.
I guess that the facts were totally wrong. It was just a normal switch PV which is semi mechanical. Correct?

So i guess ill be doing more research this time. Can you guys help me with this? Perhaps those who owns the Omega can also share your experiences with the device itself.
is it worth the 100 bucks that i am paying? Or should i go run along and find something else?

I can assure you that it's fully mechanical since I've already disassembled one. Though I find the firing button a bit weird since you push down the top to make it fire. The only thing I didn't like about it is that it's only for 18650's but if you want to stuff an 18350 there you'd have to put some spacers or pennies on top of the spring. It does perform well for a simple mod and if I had to choose between the Omega and the Bolt I'd prefer the Omega since the Bolt is not fully mechanical.

Yay thanks gravewolf! Yes i agree the plunger style firing method seems odd.. But at the moment im open to all sorts of ideas haha!

Last time I stopped in "Vapor Kings" here in town, there were a couple of employees using Omegas.
They were stacking 2 18350's running 1.5 ohm DCC's.
Talk about hitting hard!

Yeah i have heard something about the same LOL.. But stacking batteries.. ooouuuuuhhh im scared to go there! LOL~

Stacking batteries: use at your own risk. I know some vapers say it's safe, no problems, never had an accident, etc. By stacking you're just increasing your chances that something will go wrong.

I totally agree with that. Also not to mention we might fry our PV :( ~ i wouldn't want that LOL!

Any mod is worth the money if you're just happy using it. Most people actually pick mods based on aesthetics and don't even consider performance. I can say the Omega is a good mod if you're set on getting it, I just really couldn't get the hang of a plunger type firing mechanism but the spring is soft. It's also solidly built having less moving parts. The only other issue I can think of is that I remember that it doesn't have a locking mechanism so you'd have to remove the atomizer or battery if you're gonna store it in your pocket or bag.
