Or maybe even a heretic, or a blasphemer?
I like mini tanks and small batteries. My favorite setups are mini protank version 1 clones with 650mah basic ego style batteries. Stainless steel finish, no funky colors or designs. Single bottom coil on the tanks, no air flow controls. Standard voltage batteries, no twisty things on the bottom, no usb passthrough, no digital displays, just a battery. I like the ego style because the protruding button is easier to find and helps keep them from rolling around. The lack of features I don't need means the batteries are small. I like small, sleek, simple.

I have a nice big fancy Smok vv/vw battery. If I cut my juice in half with VG I can blow some massive clouds without knocking myself out. I found this to be mildly amusing for a short period of time. I also found out that with my regular mix when I dialed around for the "sweet spot" I ended up at 3.7 volts...

The mini tanks don't hold a day's worth of juice, and the 650mah batteries don't last all day. So what? Tank gets low, twist it off and pop another on. Battery light flashes, same thing. I've got a battered old EGO case from my first starter kit, it holds four tanks and batteries and a bottle of juice with room to spare.

I got my first mini pro tank from a vape shop. I just assumed it was a Kanger, but there was no mention of Kangertech anywhere on the packaging or tank. Whatever, I really liked it. I figured the real deal would be even better so I ordered one online. Kanger had discontinued the version 1, so I bought the "new, improved" version 2. It was good, but I liked the clone version 1 better. The clone tanks are polycarbonate rather than pyrex, but I don't vape plastic eating flavors, so that's a non-issue.

Now I'm not knocking all the cloud chasing, coil winding, wick trimming gear heads that seem to dominate these forums, but if there's anybody else out there who enjoys vaping with a nice, simple, inexpensive setup, I'd like to hear from you.

I use a evic at home with my trusty t3 or pt2mini on top. But when I go somewhere I take a evod battery with a t3 shorty on it. Fits in my pocket just fine. The only reason I use a evic at home is I don't have to change the battery for a couple of days. And its hard to misplace. I rewind my kanger coils so I save money there and they are better coils.

If you're a dude and da jock strap keeps your 'junk' where ya want 'em, don't sip da kool-aid.

If you're a dudette and da bra keeps your 'stuff' where ya want 'em, don't sip da kool-aid.

OTOH, if ya want to go commando or liberated, try da kewl pastel drink wid da lil' pink parasol...

High quality cigalikes and micro tanks are the future...

A futuristic vape the size of a cigarette, with all the capabilities of a big regulated mod, definitely cool to think about, on the other hand juice capacity would be an issue, unless the batteries were so small the whole thing was basically the tank.

Have you tried the new BLU PLUS tanks? They hold a surprising amount of juice. A similar, but re fill able tank with a replaceable coil/wick would be a viable option for me. 2-3 would last me the whole day...

I like 650 ma ego style batteries with a cartomizer which I fill with Japanese cotton or a small tank on it. I have a small hard case which will hold 4 Esmart clearomizers and a couple of cartomizers of different flavors which fits nicely in my shirt or pants pocket and with a spare battery I am good for a LONG day of vaping. A 650 and esmart carto fits nicely in my shirt pocket. The only larger equipment that interests me is maybe an Istick 30 with a Kanger Aerotank mini. I may get one later this year for vape lounging, may not though.

Think about it. You are using an electrical device with a complex lithium ion chemical battery to vaporize a fluid produced to mimic the delivery of nicotine as closely as possible to the delivery of nicotine contained in burning plant matter.

Does that really sound Anti-tech to you? Even your Ego and pro tank are high tech compared to a cigarette.

You are not a Luddite.

Steve, I pull the filler out of my cartos and fill them with Japanese cotton works better and no carto taste. Works fine on the horizontal coil ones. I even just put a dab of cotton in a few and put a drip tip on them and use them as dripping atmos to test flavors of mixes.

Oddly I don't get that carto taste when it is in a tank; just on standalone cartos. I like a HH .357 for testing flavors, but that's pretty much the same concept...
