0.5Ω is pretty low for a KF atty. If you consider surface area, at only 4 wraps... that's pretty minimal for 0.5Ω. The more surface area, the more juice on that surface area to vaporize. Kayfuns tend to run better with 7-11 coils, so you'd be better off with 7-8 wraps:

28 = 1.0~1.2Ω.
27 = 0.8~0.9Ω.
26 = 0.7~0.8Ω.

My personal preference is 27 ga. at 9 wraps for 1.1Ω or 26 ga. at 10 wraps for 1.0Ω.

Click on my first sig line hyperlink... you can run coil models, and in the advanced mode, review surface area information. Get the maximum surface area for a given target resistance... within reason and physical confines of the atty of course.

The Kayfun is not known as a cloud producer. It's forte is as a flavor machine. Most people run resistance of 1.1 - 2.0 ohm on a Kayfun. I'm currently running 1.1 - 1.3 ohm single microcoil of 30g Kanthal and organic cotton. I can use this on both my Silver Bullet mech and on my Provari.

Good info flux, I tried a build of .5 last night and was underwhelmed! Will try again when I run the tank dry at about .7 I like my vape in the .3-.5 range but like you said not such a good thing with the KF. Thanks for the info.

Four big things to think about with vapor production.

Air Flow
Wick
Power
Juice

The amount of power (wattage) achieved is only part of the equation. You have that part down. Next you need to look at the wick and be sure that there is enough wick to supply juice to the coil but not too much wick as it could impede air flow and/or choke the flow of the juice on the wick. Now look at your air holes... The Kayfun does not have a lot of air flow. Not much you can do about air flow other than making sure your coil/wick does not block air flow from the bottom to the top of the atty... or you could drill it out but that would require some knowledge of drilling so you don't break it. Last, how much VG is in your juice? More VG produces more, thicker vapor.

It seems air flow and wraps were my problem. 50% battery with max vg I'm blowing decent now. Ty for the help!
