Guys and Gals,

I recently bought an e-puffer phantom (similar to an ego t)

Anyway, for the first few days it was amazing. Vapour production (with liberty flights RY4 / VG) was excellent, clouds of it easily. Then it started to slow down a lot.....:(
I boiled it for 5/6 minutes, allowed it to dry etc (as I've noted on here) in the hope it would go back to normal. However, it was only marginally better.

How am I going to get my clouds of vapour back?.....:?:

Advice appreciated............

Sometimes they just wear out sooner than we'd like. That's been my experience with all atty's and cartos. They get "wimpy".

I'm not very successful with dry burning -- but I did it ever so carefully when I was using a similar set up, with pretty good success. I also like to do Vodka soak instead of water.

All VG produces clouds--but also gunks up faster.

I'm no expert with ego t type devices, so this may be way off the mark, but I wonder if the coil might be getting flooded? That could explain the loss of vapor production. In this situation, you'd probably not get any burnt taste while losing vapor production; so if you're not, this might be something to look into.

It's been awhile, but I think I remember talk about the position of the wick in the spike having to do with how well it wicks or not. Maybe it's over-wicking the coil. I think the top of the wick is supposed to be almost flush with the top of the spike. So, if nothing else, maybe you can check to see if it's either sticking out too far from the top of the spike or set too low inside. Sorry, I can't remember which instance causes over or under wicking. But it might be worth a look see.

And a word of caution, manipulating the wick in these types of ego t attys can be a little tricky... ie harmful to the wick, so it might be a good idea to youtube search some videos on the subject if you deem that an adjustment is in order. Good luck.
