If you have the USB charger I have a few problems with mine. It tends to turn green a minute after plugging it in, or even light up as green. When I wiggle the wire around and fuss with it, the light will go red. I'm not sure if a green light cuts off the charge, because I know when the Tornado fully charges it cuts off to save the battery from being shot. I don't have a wall charger though so I couldn't vouch for it.

I had that problem as well. Turned out to be the usb charger for me. Plugged it into AC and charged completely and all was good.

Some front usb panels on computers have issues with putting out 5v steady. I have a computer that the front usb hook ups work fine for normal usb stuff, but it stated that my battery was fully charged after using it all day. Try using the back usb ports or a usb wall charger.

It could be you didn't charge the batteries fully. I know you said the light turned green but if the battery wasn't fully charged when you received it, it should be left on the charger for 8 hours to fully charge, even if the light turns green.

Lithium Ion Batteries

Lithium-ion is a very clean system and does not need priming as nickel-based batteries do. The 1st charge is no different to the 5th or the 50th charge. Stickers instructing to charge the battery for 8 hours or more for the first time may be a leftover from the nickel battery days.

According to BU; No so
