am I doing something wrong??

I have had my Omega for a few weeks now. And have noticed it is very tarnished looking I watched the how to video in the stickies thread. went and got the gel gloss and used. but it still looks pretty much the same . so is there some kind of tarnish cleaner i should have used first to remove the tarnish first before the gel gloss ? or does it take several coats to remove the stuff ? this is my first mod so i feel like such a noob

The newer Omega shouldnt tarnish at all its not made with nickel anymore.

Where did you purchase it from? The Nickel Plated ones have been gone since last July. The new chrome does not tarnish.

It was bought off the classie but i like it so much better ,i even better than the hubby's silver bullet I plan on getting a new one

Ah, it is a nickel one then I bet. Mine tarnishes pretty heavy ( especially when the humidity kicks in here in Fl, I think thats a major cause along with hardly leaving my hand lol)
Mothers Aluminum polish I found really gets it all without a ton of work. It is a bit messy but works better than anything else I've tried.
Sometimes I let it go without polishing when I'm lazy and it turns a gunmetal/grey color that isn't bad either.

okay great ill look for some of that
