Hi all, this is my first post but I've been digging around on this forum for a few days straight now. A few years ago I had a ecig someone got me from the mall as a gift. I used it for a while (it came with 12mg carts) and although it was neat, it was far from being a replacement to smoking. But now that I'm really wanting to get off analogs, I though I'd start seeing what the market has now. All I have to say is WOW. There is soooo much out that I fell like I'm drowning in information.

I am a pack a day smoker, malboro 27's being my brand of choice. I really want to kick this habit, so I have ordered the following:

Provari mini v2 blem (saved me 40 bucks), and with it I added:
-18350 batteries
-(1) 510 atomizer (I guess this is the easiest way to test flavors without wasting a carto?)
-(5) 510 carto's at 3.0ohms
All of the above I ordered WITH the provari through provape, not knowing if I should have went with other brands or not initially.

Freedom Smoke USA
-(1) 3ml sample of French Toast 50/50 24mg
-
(1)3ml sample of Sour Apple 50/50 24mg
-(1) 5ml Cappuccino Smooth 50/50 24mg

I ordered all of this yesterday, hoping to get it by next weekend cause thats about when I will finish this carton of cigs. Now, I didnt know if I needed tips or tanks or anything else, at least to start with... And I was wondering if anyone was familiar with the provape brand of atomizers/cartos, could offer up any advice on using them or what not.

I appreciate the time taken to read through this and answering me...

Thanks all!
Corey

Also, that amount of juice would last me roughly 3 days. I would get some more samples from different vendors so you have something to vape. Chances are there will always be a couple that you are loathe to vape, and some that need to steep before they are vapeable.

If you are going to be out and about you will need to carry extra cartomizers with you or a juice bottle as well. You might look into something that will hold a bit more juice. Whether that is a tank, a T3, or vivi nova. You will forget your juice bottle if you have to carry one around lol.

Looks like you forgot a charger. I'd recommend getting it for cheaper at RTD Vapor. Pila and Xtar are the better choices in brand. They have a great selection of drip tips there, too. I'd also grab the appropriate sized plastic battery cases for safe carrying of spare batteries in your pocket to keep away from loose change or keys.

These little cases are useful to carry spare batteries, bottles of juice, or juice delivery devices. They can hold two small cartotanks.

Figure on consuming 3-5 ml of juice daily, so you may need more juice pretty soon.

Thank you guys for all the responses...

I forgot to mention I have a charger that should work, I use it to charge my laser batteries, which are all 3.7v AW batteries.

As for the tanks, I'm still kinda confused on them but I'm trying to grasp it. Do they go around the cartomizers? Or do they have something else built in? Do the carto's automatically pull in the juice they need from the tank I take it?

Edit: 10ml only lasts 3 days!? I thought this was supposed to save money!?

Yea tanks use carto that you insert in it and different cartos have 1,2 or 3 holes to allow juice to enter it after you fill carto the first time. Some people puch holes in cartos others buy them pre punched. You can also look into clearoizers which fill similar to tank but use wicks to suck up juice to the coil.

Clearomizers are any easy place to start before tanks some prefer them. You may want to put together a good sample order of juices from somewhere to try several different flavours to see what you like. For most your order would last 2-3 day's it will probably take trying many different juices from multiple suppliers to find something your happy with.

I live in Tucson and started with Freedomsmoke and in my opinion they are over priced for the quality of the juice. They have some good flavors but I have had cheaper juice from Mount Baker and Vaporroom that are better or just as good. That being said taste is subjective.I would try some from the sites I suggested based on fact you can get them cheap and also pick up some from other vendors as well to see what suits you best.
Once you get yourself verified on here you could always trade or sell the ones you dont like :)

The Vivi Nova is a clearomizer. You should pick up some juices from thevaporroom which has great deal for first time customers and vapedudes offers 40% of first order. Also Mount Baker Vapor has some good juices and cheap prices :)

I sure hope Im not stepping on toes,I really hate correcting ppl,but I just wanted to point out that its a one time only, not first order only 40% discount from Vapedudes,so you could use it on your first order,or your 50th with them, thats all up to you.The only downfall to this is that they only release a set number of these coupon codes per day-but its the same everyday, its just "vapedudes",without the quotations lol but Im pretty sure only 15 of these can be used per day (by all customers not just one customer lol) So its best to order as SOON as they open their website for ordering.

Good news is they very recently changed store hrs so they now open at 8 am CST,as opposed to midnight when I first ordered from them a mth ago.To ensure I got one of the coupon codes,I just picked out everything I wanted (a sampler pack of 10,10 ml bottles of juice) and added it to my cart the day before and then logged on right before midnight and entered the code and waited for the clock to strike midnight.Pressed enter or check out button as soon as it did,and voila! They go super quick obviously,as thats a huge discount,so youd have to order as soon as it hit 8 am CST,or very shortly afterwards.I think its worth the hassle though, their juice is absolutely delicious,my husband and I have loved every single one we have ordered so far.

They also have a discount code every mth as well, usually for 10-20 % off, that you can find on their FB page. And you can get a free 10 ml bottle of whatever flavor juice you want with the coupon code "fbfree"
