I took the time to really examine the cartridge of my pen and atomizer 2day.
what I realized is that there are 2 shallow grooves on the side's that allow the vapor to be pulled into the mouthpiece.

when I examined the atomizer is has a this thin mesh wick, looking at both of these things I put the cartage back into the atomizer with the grooves of the cartridge pointing away from the mesh wick.

since I have done this the pen seems to draw easy er and I am getting more vapor. Am i imagining this ? I would be appreciative if you have a min or to to try what I have done and see if you notice any difference..
thx

Knife--Are you saying to place cartridge grooves in perpendicular to the bridge and you notice a an easier draw?---I never really really thought it mattered much as the chamber fills --but I will give it a try---Sun

From my experience, it has less to do with a fixed orientation (ie like you said with the cart perpendicular to the atomizer bridge) and more with just simply rotating the cart slightly in relation to the bridge to get the best contact with the cart material. The "wool" gets pressed down by the atomizer and if you rotate 90 degrees then you get tighter contact. This is one of the reasons many users keep tweezers around (to pull the "wool" up closer to the atomizer bridge.)

Twisting the cart will not break the atomizer.

FYI: While on this subject: You should always re-fluff & poke the wool up with a needle or pin for the best performance.

The reason I have found is after a while some wool will get a little hard (at the contact point) and will not as "breathable", especially were it hits the atomizer bridge after some use (depending on your actual vaping use).

Another important point, the wool is always suppose be touching the atomizer so it will suck from it.

If you find your wool getting depressed and staying depressed which is normal, this is the time u should fluff it up with a small needle (paper clip jabbing usually is not good unless you sharpen it to a point) and poke the wool up to keep the "breath ability" of it.

I can't think of any reason why you can't rotate the cart in the cig just slightly, I find it is actually making better contact (wool to atom). But Do Not Twist it More Then a Few Degree's (just slightly).

Keep Vapin!
