I recently picked up a brass nzonic and a brass Projectile mods rda. In doing some research on it I have read that brass rda's can be toxic. Am I safe to use this or did I just waste my money? What if I clean it constantly so it doesn't get any sort of oxidation? I was really excited about having my first legit mech and dripper. Now not so much.:(:(:(

Modern Good brass can have a very small amount of lead in it. I don't use brass or copper atomizers as they are considered to be reactive metals. As in they can react to things that come into contact with them. So I guess the answer is it is possible if they used crappy brass. The good brass will have no more than like a 1/4 % lead in it. They use something else in it besides lead don't remember what it is. The safest things to use are Food grade stainless steel or glass. Plastic even can outgas things. A mod made of brass is ok I have 2 of them.

Brass is used primarily because of cost and easier to machine. Mueller brass can be lead free but finding it in a device is not going to be an easy thing. I don't like brass simply because it is too soft of a material, especially when it is involving the threading on a 510 connection. Most comes plated and lord knows what is in the plating, so for those reasons in regards to safety I just go stainless steel/aluminum only.
